If that isn't bad enough, between the Health Bill, Cap and Trade and the enviromental bull that's coming soon from our Marxist friends, we are already well on the way to bankruptcy! Good Grief! Even the Washington Post states that these deficits are UNSUSTAINABLE! And the administrations answer?! Rape the people for more!
Thanks to an uninformed, ignorant, hands out, me generation electorate, we are well on our way to third world socialistic status! This is a Joke, Isn't It?
Two stories of interest to me today, but first let me say that I was going to leave the poltical stuff alone for a few days, that is until I saw the tripe being fed to the masses today.
First and foremost! The huge number of politicians under ethics investigation is staggering!
And we're surprised by this? The only real question is are there any politicians left at all with even a trace of honesty or ethics? And as I like to say, man is what he is. A study of history shows many men entered politics with big hearts and good intentions. But there is that old saying. "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely"!
It is and always has been up to the people to police this and turn out any politician that breaks from these ideals. But mankind in so many ways thinks of themselves first, not their country. We are to blame for the current situation and it is up to us to right it!
Tiny bit of repeat here: The truth will win over the BIG LIE if presented to the people and as long as the people are paying attention as they should be with their responsibilities as voters! It is up to the people and a non co-opted media to see thru the lies and decei!t. Now as to all the folks who still believe and defend the lies being put forward, there is this. You say we spread fear. You're damned right we do! You should fear the truth as it will trump the lies and deceit emanating from DC!
What is really amazing is that these bozos in DC seem to wear these investigations as badges of honor! And "We the People" stand by and take it uo the wazoo! When are we going to take out country back from these crooks? Can anyone out there answer that question?
Point two today. The White House says it has created or saved 650,00 jobs with it's stimulus package.
Can you say crock of sh***! Moron alert! Not one job was saved. Every job that was lost was lost! Companies are still laying off or closing! Pabulum for the masses! Oops! I mean lies and diceit! No different then the false perception being given by the so called pick up in the economy.
$24,000 cost to taxpayers for each car sold under cash for clunkers! Guess what isn't selling now! CARS! With the national debt beyond out of control and the creeping nationalization of PRIVATE companies taking place we are well on the way to making the same stupid mistakes made by every socialist country that has ever existed. But of course, what do we know? After all, our so called leaders are so much smarter then us and won't make the same mistakes as the past. Blithering idiots all!
Where does it stop?! This country is so far in debt that if every person was taxed at 100% we couldn't even pay the interest! In other words, we are bankrupt! The similarities to Germany in the 30's is scary. As then the nation is now bankrupt both money wise and leadership wise! As then the Big Lie sells, the truth is conveniently forgotten until it's to late! Congress has been asked to raise the debt limit that at this moment is a staggering 13 trillion! And these bozos have the gall to announce the recession is easing? Any person out there that can balance a checkbook knows this is nothing but political tripe!
As responsible citizens, it is our responsiblity to stop this madness. We must raise our voices to the limit. We have to inundate these clowns with mail and emails! And mopt of all, we have to vote them out for not following the will of the people. Case in point, the health bill.
Citizens around this nation have spoken out. The majority do not want what is being proposed! So What! The Dems know better then the people. As such, they are ignoring their own constituents, shoving what we do not want down our throats. "We'll give the seniors $250. That will shut them up" "They won't notice the Medicare cuts" And so on and so on!
The corruption has to be stopped. Our leaders have to brought back down to our level! They are our employees! Stop this madness now!

Fighting The Lies!
I already notice the usual it's a Fox story so how can it even be listened to garbage coming out today after reading a story about what is seen as a White House PR campaign to in effect silence the oppostion to their health care plan. And here is the problem as I see it.
As I watched the Sunday shows this morning on the 3 networks, CNN and Fox, all I saw was the sheer disdain this administration has for any opposing opinion. I for one am not only getting tired of being spoken down to, but I'm also fed up with what I perceive as an complete distaste for our country's history and ideals as practiced by this administration. You don't have to agree with me or anyone else, but someone has to stand up and fight back! I choose not to believe the rhetoric coming from these people! Stomp on my right to a free opinion and I will fight it to my dying day! I owe my forefathers and my children that! And so do every one of you out there!
I do believe with all my heart there is an ultra left radical element now running the country. It is there in their own words and actions. I have mentioned before, the main thrust of our efforts have got to be aimed at our elected officials, and I still believe that. However, it must be everyone’s job to educate themselves as to not only what is going on as to this radical march to the hard left, but also we maybe have to reach back and re-educate ourselves on this country's basic ideals and principles! And the blame does not stop with the Dems! The other party is just as much at fault! What is going on now is a complete betrayal of everything our founding fathers stood for. If we let it continue, shame on us all
Anyone who is to ignorant to figure out the anarchy being practiced by this administration is beyond all help. As any one who has seen my posts at all would know, I pretty much hold all politicians in disdain! The other thing I cannot and refuse to abide are lock step moronic ideologists! You have your opinion, I have mine. So be it! The difference is, I and others will and do fight for what we believe. For those of you in leftist land (and hard right land also), if that seems to get under your craws, Good!
When I threw some of these statements on a board, I of course was taken to task by the usual leftist apoligists for this administration. Among other things they accused myself and others of sitting on our hands for the last 8 years, in other words the usual "it's Bush's fault" BS! And of course, they accuse us of not being knowledgeable enough to even be commenting on anything. I answer as follows.
I don't give a rat's ass about what other people did or didn't do or say. I can guarantee that many folks on the right fought what was going on, but as usual, the folks in DC who perceive themselves as some sort of royalty above all us peons ignored us.
I know I see a Marxist left leaning Anti-America agenda being put forth by this administration. I do see an attack on Freedom of Speech and thought! I do see an attack on Freedom of the Press! And I do worry about governement control of the internet! How long before they come after the blogs that disagree with them? I know I have and will fight that! If you libbies don't like it, tough! But I will rot in hell before I personally allow my country to become another Soviet style republic!
One other quick question, one that I might have alluded to yesterday! Does this administration think we are so stupid that we can't figure out they moved spending from the proposed health care bill (I did ask this yesterday come to think of it, It's the DR. Fix) to bring the cost lower? Again, a clear example of if they are not going to lie about it, they'll shift it so we don't notice!
And there are people out there that honestly believe we should not question or fight this?! That fact alone is not only incredible, but a sad commentary on how we have somehow lost the meaning of what our country really is.

Debt and More Debt
Today, I saw a story in which "Christina Romer said Thursday that the nation's soaring unemployment rate is likely to remain at a "severely elevated level" even if it moves up or down a bit. " ( quote from Fox, but also read on other sites). Gee whiz! She wouldn't kid us would she?
"One of the things we have going for us right now is the stimulus package. That's the thing that has brought us back from the brink," said the Economic Policy Institute's Heidi Shierholz. She said the stimulus is saving between 200,000 and 250,000 jobs a month and noted that there's still 60 percent of the package left. Whoopie Do! Who's anyone kidding here? I'm sure the millions that have lost jobs are buying into this garbage!
This isn't rocket science folks! The more the debt goes up, the more the governmet tightens it's controls on business as well as taxes them to the hilt. the worse unemployment is going to get! Which leads us to my next point!
Congress has been asked to raise the debt limit to 13 trillion dollars. That's 13 TRILLION! Fact! This debt is unsustainable! As government strangles the economy, revenues will go down! As it is apparent, in their own words that the 17% that are unemployed (and I don't want to here any crap as to the lower figure that is a flat out lie!) those revenues will not return any time soon!
Health care. The latest Bull S... estimate is a bit over a trillion dollars. OOPS! I'm sure that doesn't take into account other programs that the administration and Congress have spun off as separate bills (One comes to mind right of, the doctor pay bill, not sure of the name right off that goes for 225 billion). Total cost of the health bill stuff is realistically closer to 1.9 trillion! Add to that the tax hikes that will be involved in this and the economy is in deper trouble still!
We are in a financial hole the likes of which the world has never seen! It's worse then "29" and it's certainly worse then the Argentine and German bankruptcies of the past! Pure and simple! The United States cannot pay it's bills. We could tax every worker at 100% and not even meet the interest payments. And what does this administration want to do? That's right! Rape the public!
Finally, I see where the government now says they can set the pay for executives of any government regulated bussiness. Surprisingly enough, I didn't have much of a problem with that as far as any institution that was stupid enough to take bail out money. Quite honestly, they should have been allowed to go under and let a stronger entity take their places. But if I read this correctly, the goevernment can now dictate to any regulated financial agency.
Now if anyone thinks for one moment it will stop there, they'd better get off the drink now! This is the first step towards dismantling the free market as we know it. For all you libbies out there that will attack me on this, get a life. This administration along with the corrupt leftists in Congress are marching us towards Socialism of the worse kind! I say again! Study the people he has in his administration! Their thoughts and words are there for all to see! And it is their aim to deliver this country to Euro style Marxism or worse!

A Small Victory for Common Sense
Anyone who has followed me at all knows how strong I feel about the fact that this administration is actively trying to Control The Media, Control The Message!
Yesterday, I asked a question as to where is the outrage by the liberals as to this assault on the Free Press and Free Speech. Today, at last, the media came to it's senses, realizing in this instance exactly what was at stake (at least I hope that is why they reacted).
I want to thank the leaders of the networks that stood up not only for Fox, but for every person in this country! One of our most precious rights is being threatened by this administration!
Whether we agree or disagree with what a media outlet has to say, no one, including the president has the right to try to stop it! Remember as I have said before, history teaches us that once a co-opted press has outlived it's use, that government will turn on them also. Great move by the networks in remembering their responsibilities!
Presidents in the past have tried to marginalize or ignore different media outlets. Everyone remembers Nixon and his enemies list and of course his completely inane attempt to lock out the NY Times. And of course, it stands to reason that every administration and for that matter every politician out there wants to control the message to some extent.
My main problem with what has transpired in the last two weeks is that in my lifetime, I do not remember a more blatent attempt at what appears to be a complete takeover of the Press and as an offshoot, what appears to be the complete disdain put forward by this administration for any opposing point of view!
I think it is important that people make decisions after taking in various points of view, not just one! I think debate, criticism, and public discourse are all part of what makes this the great country it is. And this is the sad part. By all appearances, this administration does not believe in that premise. Let's forget for one moment the anti-democratic socialist agenda these people are pushing and just look at this one thing. Control of the Message. Control of the Media.
While on one hand it was idiotic for the president to go after Fox, Rush and others, it must be understood that he and his advisors are following their own beliefs, pure and simple. This tactic, as others we have seen is a page directly out of any radical handbook. Smear the messenger. Demonize the commentator. Don't have facts? LIE, LIE,LIE!. As they have the main pulpit, the message will resound with the masses!
I use this quote alot, but I repeat it again! "Who made the following quotes? How fortunate for governments that people they administer don't think. The broad masses of a population are more amendable to the appeal of rhetoric than any other force. Make the lie Big. Make it Simple, and eventually they will believe it. The answer: ADOLF HITLER. We better not get out of the way or it will be too late" Lies, Lies and more Lies. This president truly believes we are stupid enough to swallow it all, just like Hitler did in the 30's.
Hitler, as Obama was a mezmorizing orator. They both were able to charm the pants off the populace. They both were freely elected, the voters choosing to ignore the reality in front of them, instead voting on lies and false promises. Now don't get me wrong here! I'm only using this comparison as to the election. For whatever reason, people are afraid to use the word Hitler. As for what happened after he came in power, I agree. That doesn't change the fact that he rode into power on the back of lies and deceit, just as this president did.
Obama has proven to be exactly what he is, that is provided anyone that voted for him had really looked into his background at all! He is a Marxist! Every move he has made seems to be with a dislike for our country and it's ideals! I could go on and on, but you get the point. It was there for all to see, if we had educated ourselves as to what he really is.
Which again ties into the Press thing. Although the electorate ignored their duties as voters, it's not becuase the information wasn't there! That's what makes this such an important issue. If any politician can control the media, if any poltician can squash free speech and dissent as this administration is trying to do, our country as we know it is finished.
This time, the Press stood up! I don't expect any of them to change their styles or views. so be it!
I just hope they now realize what a slippery slope this administration has us on.
I've said before, we should respect the office of the President. We sure as hell do not have to respect the man in the office! It is time for Obama to stop talking down to people! It's time for him to stop the lies! It's time for him to remember he has no right to tell anyone what to think, what they can read, what they can say! Today was at least a start in that direction!
One last thing. The Internet Neutrality Act! In the end, exactly what does it mean? Can the government control it to the point of controlling content? If so, what does that possibly portend for the bloggers, etc. that voice opposing opinons? Can the government declare an emergency and either shut the down the net and/or "certain" sites down? Again, just wondering! I ask this only because everyone should be afraid of any government control over any information medium of any type, be it the Press or the Internet!

The broad masses of a population are more amendable to the appeal of rhetoric than any other force. Make the lie Big. Make it Simple, and eventually they will believe it. The answer: ADOLF HITLER. We better not get out of the way or it will be too late" Lies, Lies and more Lies. This president truly believes we are stupid enough to swallow it all, just like Hitler did in the 30's.
Hitler, as Obama was a mezmorizing orator. They both were able to charm the pants off the populace. They both were freely elected, the voters choosing to ignore the reality in front of them, instead voting on lies and false promises. Now don't get me wrong here! I'm only using this comparison as to the election. For whatever reason, people are afraid to use the word Hitler. As for what happened after he came in power, I agree. That doesn't change the fact that he rode into power on the back of lies and deceit, just as this president did.
Obama has proven to be exactly what he is, that is provided anyone that voted for him had really looked into his background at all! He is a Marxist! Every move he has made seems to be with a dislike for our country and it's ideals! I could go on and on, but you get the point. It was there for all to see, if we had educated ourselves as to what he really is.
Which again ties into the Press thing. Although the electorate ignored their duties as voters, it's not becuase the information wasn't there! That's what makes this such an important issue. If any politician can control the media, if any poltician can squash free speech and dissent as this administration is trying to do, our country as we know it is finished.
This time, the Press stood up! I don't expect any of them to change their styles or views. so be it!
I just hope they now realize what a slippery slope this administration has us on.
I've said before, we should respect the office of the President. We sure as hell do not have to respect the man in the office! It is time for Obama to stop talking down to people! It's time for him to stop the lies! It's time for him to remember he has no right to tell anyone what to think, what they can read, what they can say! Today was at least a start in that direction!
One last thing. The Internet Neutrality Act! In the end, exactly what does it mean? Can the government control it to the point of controlling content? If so, what does that possibly portend for the bloggers, etc. that voice opposing opinons? Can the government declare an emergency and either shut the down the net and/or "certain" sites down? Again, just wondering! I ask this only because everyone should be afraid of any government control over any information medium of any type, be it the Press or the Internet!

Distraction, Lies, Inane Policies and More
I'd like to start out with the moronic issue of Barak's war on the Conservative Media. First and foremost, Iwould agree with some out there who say this is a tactic to divert attention from the health care debate, cap and trade and so on. Typical of any administration and all have done it in the past.
However, there is a cost to be paid for this. In this case, the main enemies (Rush, Sean, Beck, Fox, etc.) are powerful enough and popular enough to still be able to get their message out, or at least until the Fairness Doctrine is forced down our throats! As such, the people still have access to opposing views and facts that the administration does not want you to have! And the president himself in his remarks condones the actions against the anti administration media! So be it! As I've said before, it didn't work for Nixon!
But that brings up another point! I asked the following question the other day. "Seems to me a Free Press should be one of the purest ideals a liberal would adhere to! So isn't this entire argument against one network the absolute highest form of hypocrisy? " So let's forget policy matters for a moment. Where is the liberal outrage as to this attack on the FREE PRESS?
By standing by their Marxist leader with their hands over their eyes, aren't they in effect condoning a co-opted press? In other words, aren't liberals, by rejecting their own basic philosophies in effect enemies of this country? I contend that if even one person is against any form of free press and free speech, they are in fact enemies of our country. I notice they didn't whine much when even Fox was bashing Bush! And they did, no matter what the lying sacks of you know what on the other side say, as did Rush and Sean and Beck!
Someone has to combat the lies and mis-information being issued every day by this administration. Again, I'm the first to say they all have done it in the past, but in my lifetime I have never seen a more blatent attack on our freedopm of speech and press! It has to be stopped now!
I don't even want to get started on the inane policies being pushed by these people. They are for all intents and purposes policies modeled after what Chavez is doing in Venezuaela as well as any other failed socialist country past or present. And for you lefties out their, cut the crap! This administration is filled with hard left 60's radicals! The policies are right out of the socialist handbook! And their leader is the president who is happily cowtowing to his leaders, Nancy and Harry! Look at who he has surrounded himself with. Look who is making these policies!
This isn't some kind of joke folks! What I find hardest to believe is what I have expressed before. Is this country so far gone? Are we now completely an entitlement driven, give me society? Are we actually willing to allow the government to take care of us? Are we willing to give up our freedoms for a handout? Have we completely turned our backs on the basic tenets our country was founded on? It sure seems like it!
Last but not least today, I want to address the fiasco known as "Nukes for Iran and N. Korea"!
In the last few weeks, we have basically seen the Russians tell us to take a hike as to sanctions or preventing them from getting a bomb. China happily told us to stuff it! And of course, Iran itself continues to defy anyone out there.
First and foremost, we have Hillary! Believe it or not, I think she is trying her best considering the administration has her hands tied! Combine that with the fact that the Muslims do not in any way respect a woman! But on top of that, we have the simple fact that this president is weak and Pro-Muslim!
Once again, we have this sad sack of a president reaching out to the fanatics that have sworn to destroy us in any way they can. Once again, as it was with Chamberlain and Carter, they laugh in our face and sneer. As our wimp of a president preaches understanding the problems the Muslims have with us, they keep seeking any way possible to kill any American they can, their hatred ratcheted up by the weakness they see in our policies. They are not just terrorists. They are the epitome of evil and this guy refuses to see it. We need not to apologize anymore! We need to eradicate this scum from the face of the earth. And if this president can't understand that, he is as guilty as the scum he is trying to appease.
History repeats itself. The left is emasculating our security and military just as in the past! We'll pull a Chamberlain! We'll ask the UN for more sanctions, which they will grant. However, they will not enforce them against any of their third world Anti-American allies. We will try to muzzle Israel from striking. After all, we can't have one of our allies defend itself from the mis-understood Iranians. In essence we will yap like the weak impotent puppies they think we are, and then express our shock and displeasure when they go ahead and get their nukes, laughing at us as always. All the while, our enabler in chief is pushing thru the lefts Anti-American agenda under the guise of "we must understand them"! What a crock!
Bottom line here! WE CANNOT NEGOTIATE WITH MADMEN! Chamberlain Jr. has got to get that thru his fat head! While we fiddle and faddle, both countires lie to our faces while working at getting what they want! One other thing here. The loonies on the left seem to think the Koreans, being the honorable people that they are ,would never do anything stupid! And in the eyes of the morons in power here, they can't deliver a payload! WRONG! They have a short range missle that can deliver a small warhead. And lest anyone forget, we have 35,000 troops around the border there. One bomb. That's all it takes! But we'll trust the Anti-American UN and a madman?! Good Grief!

Control of the Media!
I was going to lay low for a few days, but I then read the story about White House Communications Director Anita Dunn as to how they "focused on "making" the media cover what the campaign wanted and on exercising absolute "control" over coverage". Now at first glance, as a political campaign is run, this is how it's done, at least up to a point. You want to get your message out! So be it! Quotes to follow.
Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," Dunn said, admitting that the strategy "did not always make us popular in the press."
She explained that the campaign favored live interviews so that Obama's words could not be edited -- "so that what the voters heard we determined, as opposed to some editor in a TV station."
She said Campaign Manager David Plouffe put out Web videos so the campaign could avoid talking to reporters and focus the media message.
"Whether it was a David Plouffe video or an Obama speech, a huge part of our press strategy was focused on making the media cover what Obama was actually saying as opposed to why the campaign was saying it," she said. "One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters. ... We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it."
As I wanted a bit more perspective, I found the video and watched it. What struck me was not only how proud she was of this effort, but also her apparent "now that we control the media, we can do anything" attitude that she seemed to exhude. In point of fact, she sounded like a propoganda minister, the type that would make Goebels proud!
Normally, I would just liken this to a showboating football player doing his up your's dance after making a play. But this really points to a much larger problem facing this country!
As we all know, the administration has decided to demonize Fox News! Nothing new here in some sense. Nixon as an example. tried it with the NY Times. Didn't have much success though!
But consider this. Control of the Message! Control of the Media!

President Barack Obama's chief of staff, said, "It is not a news organization so much as it has a perspective." Emanuel appeared on CNN's "State of the Union"Appearing on ABC's "This Week," senior Obama adviser David Axelrod said Fox News shouldn't be treated as a news organization. "And the bigger thing is that other news organizations, like yours, ought not to treat them that way, and we're not going to treat them that way," he said.
Isn't this exactly as Anita Dunn is talking about? We have an administration that has in effect told the majority of the media and in turn the American people to ignore one network! They are not a news organization! Ignore what they have to say! The only truth comes from the organizations that support us! Can say dictatorship?
Question here. Who in the hell do these people think they are? What gives them the right to tell me or anyone what we are to believe is news or fact? And we have a co-opted media that allows this!
This country is in great trouble when any administration can in effect order one media outlet to either attack and/or demean another network. These tactics are no different then any other dictatorship when it comes to a Free Press! How dare anyone to try to tell me what to think, what is news or what isn't news?!
Seems to me a Free Press should be one of the purest ideals a liberal would adhere to! So isn't this entire argument against one network the absolute highest form of hypocrisy?
As for me, last time I looked I live in the United States. Supposedly no one has the right to force me how to think or what to do. And our elected officials (our employees) should keep in mind they do not have the right to shut off debate and or the voice of the people! But again, at least in my mind that is exactly what the administration thru it's lap dog media outlets is tryin to do!
One last point. This administration will at all costs use the methods as used by most dictators around the world. And why not? One of his advisors admires how Chavez controls the media in Venezuaela! Should work here. Just make sure you control the message! And "We the People" are allowing this to happen?! I truly fear for my country and it's future! We are in fact being destroyed from within, just as predicted years ago!
In my view, this president and his cronies are intent on shutting off all debate, comment or questions when ot comes to what they have decided is good for us. Any dissent and/or criticism will not be allowed! Any one caught doing this will be denigrated, smeared and lied about until the lie becomes the truth in the eyes of the people.
I asked this yesterday! What does this say about a country that is willing to throw away one of their most precious rights, The Freedom of Speech and the Press and allow this to happen? How can one person in this country ignore something as obvious as an administration controlling their very thought processes? What in the hell is it going to take to get people to realize they are on the verge of losing one of their most precious rights?! When are we going to try once again to live by the ideals as put forward by our founding fathers? WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?
As for the Press I ask again! What has happened to a "Free Press!? How is it that the so called watch dogs of Freedom, a Free Press, are so willing to put out shameless lies and distortions of fact? What happened to the Cronkites and the Murrows? What has happened to journalism? How dare almost any of you out there to even compare yourselves with the likes of Cronkite or Murrow! When did it become acceptable in your profession tho serve up lies and bias instead of facts? How can any of you justify "not doing your jobs "as journalists?

Fox News Is Not a Real News Outlet?
Today as I always do, I sat thru the Sunday programs on the various networks! I do this so I can at least try to get many points of view before I go off on one of my tirades as to the near collapse of this once great country. Before everyone gets themselves into a hissy over that statement consider the fact that we now have the thought police out there telling the mass media and in turn you what is and isn't news. In other words, Control of the Media! Control of the message!
Please note here. I watched both of the programs I am going to cite here and the quotes I copied from an Associated Press story by Ann Sanner. In other words, I have proven statements, something our lying politicians would not know anything about!

2: The White House, for all practical purpose gave the networks their marching orders. Vilify Fox News! They are not your equals! It is impartive you, the real news networks must use any resource possible to overwhelm the public with the message we want to get out! We are more then happy to ignore the lies and lack of facts as long as you can in any way discredit that orginization.
3: This administration will at all costs use the methods as used by most dictators around the world. And why not? One of his advisors admires how Chavez controls the media in Venezuaela! Should work here. Just make sure you control the message!
4: What has happened to a "Free Press"?! How is it that the so called Watch Dogs of Freedom, a Free Press, are so willing to put out shameless lies and distortions of fact? What happened to the Cronkites and the Murrows of this once great industry.

I took these appearances today as a call from the administration to force feed the American people the worst of leftist propoganda. I believe, now more then ever that we do not only have a co-opted media, but are in fact on a forced march to Socialism or worse.
There is a common thread to this story as with most things that are involved with a leftist and/or dictatorship way of doing things! Control of the media! Overwhelm the people’s senses with Lies, Lies and more Lies! The fact that a corrupt administration would use the Mainstream Media for this purpose is just a logical extension of the above! What amazes me is that anyone would be shocked by this or any other tact taken not only by this administration, but also all the other misleading hacks in office in either party. They all do the same thing to some level! The only difference now is that they are not afraid or ashamed to openly insult the electorate as we have let them do that for way to many years!
I do believe with all my heart their is an ultra left radical element now running the country. It is there, in their own words and actions. And one other point. the Press! History teaches that in every country that had a compliant press, the government turned against that same press once they had taken complete control. This is fact! It's bad enough we ourselves did not self police our politicians, but the press has almost completely abrogated their responsiblities
The truth will win over the BIG LIE if presented to the people and as long as the people are paying attention as they should be with their responsibilities as voters! It is up to the people and a non co-opted media to keep this administration from it's leftward march. And that is my main point! Say what you want about the guys at Fox, Rush , Beck ,or O'Reilly, but there is one clear fact. When they make a point, they back it with facts! So far, I have not seen the administration able to punch a hole into any thing the folks at Fox have reported on and/or exposed. All they have been able to do is smear the messenger, a classic radical tactic!

However, it must be everyone's job to educate themselves as to not only what is going on as to this radical march to the hard left, but also we maybe have to reach back and re-educate ourselves on this country's basic ideals and principles! What is going on now is a complete betrayal of everything our founding fathers stood for. If we let it continue, shame on us all!

There is a common thread to this story as with most things that are involved with a leftist and/or dictatorship way of doing things! Control of the media! Overwhelm the people’s senses with Lies, Lies and more Lies! The fact that a corrupt administration would use the Mainstream Media for this purpose is just a logical extension of the above! What amazes me is that anyone would be shocked by this or any other tact taken not only by this administration, but also all the other misleading hacks in office in either party. They all do the same thing to some level! The only difference now is that they are not afraid or ashamed to openly insult the electorate as we have let them do that for way to many years!
I do believe with all my heart their is an ultra left radical element now running the country. It is there, in their own words and actions. And one other point. the Press! History teaches that in every country that had a compliant press, the government turned against that same press once they had taken complete control. This is fact! It's bad enough we ourselves did not self police our politicians, but the press has almost completely abrogated their responsiblities
The truth will win over the BIG LIE if presented to the people and as long as the people are paying attention as they should be with their responsibilities as voters! It is up to the people and a non co-opted media to keep this administration from it's leftward march. And that is my main point! Say what you want about the guys at Fox, Rush , Beck ,or O'Reilly, but there is one clear fact. When they make a point, they back it with facts! So far, I have not seen the administration able to punch a hole into any thing the folks at Fox have reported on and/or exposed. All they have been able to do is smear the messenger, a classic radical tactic!
Yesterday. I mentioned the main thrust of our efforts have to be aimed at our elected officials, and I still believe that. However, it must be everyone's job to educate themselves as to not only what is going on as to this radical march to the hard left, but also we maybe have to reach back and re-educate ourselves on this country's basic ideals and principles! What is going on now is a complete betrayal of everything our founding fathers stood for. If we let it continue, shame on us all!

Tea Partiers Targeting the Mass Media
Today, I see the "Tea Partiers" are now targeting the major news networks and other media outlets. But guess what folks. Going after the MSM "IS NOT WHAT WE NEED RIGHT NOW"! The sane people in this country already know we have a co-opted media that this administration believes should be run as in Venezuela. So be it! We aren't dumb! Therefore, we need to focus our wrath on the worthless idiots of both parties sitting on their big rear ends in DC.
As I read thru other sites on this I keep seeing the same thing. Once again, the leftist morons out there are trying to make this about Foxnews! Smear the messenger. Throw enough garbage on the wall and hope it sticks! And heaven forbid that they would ever let a fact get in the way of their lies! The main intent of this or any leftist goevernment is to keep the Big Lie in play, nothing else matters!
I've said before, what happens in the near future depends on what “We the People” do to stop this Leftist march! We must bombard them until they listen to us! They are our employees! As the majority of these no counts are only there for the power, it is up to us to remind them of the basic facts!
The administration is conciously pushing a hard left socialist/dictatorship agenda! For what ever assnine reason you want to give, the vast majority of the media is behind it! They have refused to do their jobs as watchdogs, preferring to be lap dogs! As such, they can't even bother to go so far as to even look at the backgrounds of the ultra radical faction advising this president. Of course, they can't question the man as to who he surrounds himself with. It's none of our business! Moron alert! This is the same man that said judge him by the people he surrounds himself with!
For those who don't quite understand why the Tea Partiers are angry, have you ever been shouted down by an elected official and deemed irrelevent when asking a question or making a statement? Have you ever then sat down and watched as the opposing point of view got all the time they wanted. Have you asked an elected official to answer your question only to be escorted out of that meeting and branded as a trouble maker?
Well I have! People are not as stupid as our elected officials think we are! Now we are finally standing up for our rights! People are not willing to allow our elected officials to talk down to us anymore! What's really funny about this is how the hard left is crying about the other side using the same tactics they themselves perfected.
So I say again. We need to go after the morons in DC! Both parties! Anyone that refuses to listen to their constituents! We must slam their offices with calls and mail. We must tie up their emails. We have to take it to them, not just put up with it. Make them listen! Get it thru their thick skulls that their phony baloney asses are going to be out on the street if they don't!
By the way: As to the Big Lie! I see where Rick Sanchez of CNN has "apologized" for what in my view is his pure slander of Rush! Have you ever seen a more aptahetic, non sincere apology in your life? Of course you have. everytime a politician apologizes after he or she is caught with the goods. But beyond that, here is the reality of this situation.
Out and out lies were used and quoted by major news organizations to openly slander Rush, none of which could be substantiated! These people knew this! Don't anyone out there pretend for one moment they didn't! It goes back to the media NOT DOING THEIR JOBS! Forget the hard left bias for a second. These people did not check their facts. They did not confirm! Instead, they marched lock step to the talking points of the radical left and gleefully reported it as fact! Then when caught in the lie, they apologize, citing BS like they were misled, etc. No different then the Dan Rather story slandering President Bush. Unsubstantiated and unconfirmed, they report it as fact anyway! WHY!

And what does a so called reporter like Rick Sanchez get once he's caught? NOTHING, other then a pat on the back from the left for vilifying an opponent enough to cause them harm!

The man appeared to be fair and unbiased, well prepared and all of his stories were fact based. He reported the news! Cronkite and Murrow have got to be rolling in their graves everytime one of these morons is referred to as a journalist! What an insult to their memories!

On Rush and Other Things
I have watched in bemusement as our boys Jesse and Al along with the rest of the co-opted media went after Rush as being unfit to own a piece of an NFL team. My first question is "Are you kidding me?!"
Rush is Rush. I have never for one moment find him to be hateful as most of his critics think (and yes, I know the libs and the rest of the lunatic fringe disagree). He can be crass and sometimes over the top in making his points, but on the whole I don't think he's hateful. Going thru the list of owners in the league, as well as the thugs on the player's rosters,this is like the pot calling the kettle black (oops! I'll get yelled at for that one!).
Beyond the obvious, 2 points here. If as stated Soros (an admitted Nazi collaborator) is part of this proposed owners group I'm sure Rush is glad to be away from it. And if that is the case, where is the outrage not only by the co-opted media but also the league (and for that matter Al and Jesse)? In this politically correct leftist world it's indeed correct to to embrace a hater of Jews while villifying an alleged (and I say that due to the lies put forth by some) racist? We'll give the Vicks and Lewis's and the other petty thugs in the league second, third and fourth chances, but turn a deaf ear to a man that clearly loves the sport! BTW: As someone mentioned yesterday. Who in their right mind would want to buy that team other then someone from Missouri in the first place?
Now, let's expound for a moment on our boys Jesse and Al, two corrupt race baiters who have not met a lie they will reject if it will aid their cause! Along with the co-opted media, they have put forth quotes that were never uttered or thought! And the media gleefully repeated them. After all, it was Rush, enemy of the state as far as they are concerned. I'm not going into the hypocrisy shown by these people at this time. No need to! I only wish I knew how these two guys are the spokesmen for the entire black community.
Before I'm taken to task here on that last statement, it has to be noted that asking that question is just common sense! The gentlemen are nothing but charletons and shills. They have both been caught in more lies and deceptions then anyone cares to admit. They coerce monies from companies and people and where does it go? No one seems to know. And they seem to speak of a value system that keeps people down! And these are people to look up to?
Last night, I happened to be watching O'Reilly between periods of a hockey game (you see, I actually do have a life! BTW: My Beloved Blackhawks are off to their best start in over 30 years!) when he had Juan Williams and another gentleman who I apologise for not remembering his name at this time. They got into the usual arguement about Rush, but with a huge twist! Mr. Williams, certainly not a conservative commentator by any stretch of the imagination not only defended Rush as a person, but also pointed out the lies and the hypocrisy behind this entire situation.
The other gentleman of course gave the usual Jesse and Al approach, citing the usual white man is bad garbage. Mr. Williams, and I'm sorry but I can't remember the exact context of how this evolved and I'm not one to rewatch something per say, answered back wherein the other gentleman said something to the effect of "if you were a real black" to Mr. Williams (and I know I'm probably paraphrasing there). After the shock of his statement wore off, I began to realize more then ever what a profound statement this gentleman had uttered and also how terribly screwed up the state of race relations is in this country.
A black man called another black man the "wrong kind of black"! Seems to me I remember Colin Powell being called the same thing! The more I think about it, there have been so many others. Thomas Sowell, J.C. Watts and of course Justice Thomas! And the list goes on and on. Al and his cronies constantly denigrate people of their own race, folks that have pulled themselves up and accomplished great things. And why? Because they don't subscribe to the "we are owed everything by everyone else" doctrine spewed by these two kooks?
Whatever the case, I want to give great Kudos to Mr. Williams, an articulate gentleman whom I don't always agree with, but believes in and defends his ideals and statements thoughtfully and honestly without a hint of malice. I admire people like that!
In years past and on many of the news boards, I have stated my admiration for Tip O"Neil and Patrick Moynihan. Both of these gentlemen were in many ways left of center and had very little
I agreed with. But they were good honest men who's love for their country out weighed everything else. They stood by their principles, never backing down, but without the malice, the hate and the lies that now serve as the way to do things!
Basic question here. when are Al and Jesse, along with the rest of the race baiting crowd going to realize that we are all Americans? When will they finally see that the great majority of us are just hard working folks that only ask to get a fair shake? When will they in fact get rid of their hate?! Only then, can they be taken at face value. Until such time as that happens, I will in this instance stand with Mr. Williams and the rest of the sane community out there!

At War With Fox LOL!!
I just read a story that in effect has the administration saying Fox News is an arm of the Republican party. It seems to me that in fact, they feel the network if nothing else is an enemy to not only the President, but also to the country as a whole. After all, they dare to question actions by this administration. how dare they!
I find it quite funny and yet sad. We do in fact, on the whole have a co-opted media in this country! First rule to cover up an assassination is to kill the assassin. First rule in politics is to lie about, besmirch or discredit the messenger when challenged!
So why is the administration so Anti-Fox? Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure this one out. Fox, more then any other outlet at least tries to have fact on their side. They have been known to go after anyone in any party if they feel they are wrong (I'm not going to argue that on the surface they are conservative in nature). But usually when any politician strikes out at a media outlet it is because the truth has bitten him or her in the ass and they don't like it!

BTW: When Ipost, I do it after digging into every facet of information I can digest. I'm just a hard working guy, high school grad who after 42 years has worked my way to the top of my profession. I read and listen to everything I can (that's a novel concept I'm sure for all of the lock stepping libs out there). I pretty much hold the majority of politicians, right or left in disdain as anyone who has seen my post would know. Having said all that, the fact is still quite clear that the vast majority of the MSM are NOT doing their jobs as they should! Most spout the big lie. The editors and reporters don't seem to be able to think for themselves any more.

A Quick Thanks and an Observation
I recieved some constructive criticism as to how I write things into what is in effect a wall of words, something I did not realize I was doing (you know, it would be nice if I used a paragrah here and there, etc.). The commenter was absolutely correct! As I begin to let the stuff out, I am in fact just rambling along! As such, Iwill try to correct that!
But that also brings me to a bigger point I would like to make. As we all know, when posting on the regular boards, we are accosted with vile name calling, rampant racism and on and on! So many times, when someone posts anything thoughtful or even remotely insightful, they are immediately slammed. In other words, no civil discourse!
Debate and civil discourse. It's where ideas come from! It's a forum to if not fix a problem, at least address it and come up with some consensus to at least try! As such, debate or discussion can hurt one's feelings and/or illicit some rather harsh reactions. It is a time for constructive criticism as I addressed earlier.
My point is until we as a people can discuss stuff without hate, until we can cast aside our own ideologies, our biases, etc. and approach a subject with open minds, there cannot be fixes. As a society we must work together. Listening is a fine art. Learning and changing ones mind due to constructive criticism, and I want to emphasise that, constructive criticism is a sign of maturity and leadership. Can you even remotely understand this view Mr. President, or is your head stuck so far up your elitist ass that you as most politicians are to far above us mortals to bother ?
From my little part of the world, it sure appears that way!
I've been patting myself on the back! It was so cool to me that someone had suggested I start a blog because they liked what I had to say. I never took into consideration in any way that I was just blurting out my feelings in short bursts. When I first got the comment on my second post as to "the wall of words" I was at first hurt and burned. But as I reread my stuff, I realized not only was he correct, but I was in fact bridling against exactly what I stated in many of my posts! I first closed my mind to constructive criticism! And for that I am sorry. Looking into past stuff, I see how we have some how denigrated down to hate and condescening tripe in many comments, throwing out our true nature, but refusing to listen! It's true in discussions here as it is in this crazy political world.
Debate is imperitive for this country to survive. Criticsim is good, provided it is true! As I said, debate must be accompanied by open minds. This must be conducted by using the Truth and Facts! This must be done by educating yourselves! Keep an open mind, but dig up everything you can from both sides. Then make an informed decision. As we go forward, we will be called fear mongers and worse! WEAR IT AS A BADGE OF HONOR. Radicals of any persuasion FEAR the truth and facts, so shout it out as loudly as possible. This is our country. Love for country and the ideals it was founded on IS NOT HATE as the hard left keeps saying. Opposing bad policy IS NOT RACISM as we are charged with! Fight the BIG LIE with the TRUTH! Our country depends on this.
Again, my thanks to all. I want this to be a place of discussion, not just dissing! I promise, as I hope I always have, to keep an open mind. I try to make my comments after studying all I can amd then making an informed decision. That doesn't mean I'm always right! When wrong, I freely admit it. As such, I am going to re-edit my last few votes into a more readable form. And let's let the games begin!
But that also brings me to a bigger point I would like to make. As we all know, when posting on the regular boards, we are accosted with vile name calling, rampant racism and on and on! So many times, when someone posts anything thoughtful or even remotely insightful, they are immediately slammed. In other words, no civil discourse!
Debate and civil discourse. It's where ideas come from! It's a forum to if not fix a problem, at least address it and come up with some consensus to at least try! As such, debate or discussion can hurt one's feelings and/or illicit some rather harsh reactions. It is a time for constructive criticism as I addressed earlier.
My point is until we as a people can discuss stuff without hate, until we can cast aside our own ideologies, our biases, etc. and approach a subject with open minds, there cannot be fixes. As a society we must work together. Listening is a fine art. Learning and changing ones mind due to constructive criticism, and I want to emphasise that, constructive criticism is a sign of maturity and leadership. Can you even remotely understand this view Mr. President, or is your head stuck so far up your elitist ass that you as most politicians are to far above us mortals to bother ?
From my little part of the world, it sure appears that way!
I've been patting myself on the back! It was so cool to me that someone had suggested I start a blog because they liked what I had to say. I never took into consideration in any way that I was just blurting out my feelings in short bursts. When I first got the comment on my second post as to "the wall of words" I was at first hurt and burned. But as I reread my stuff, I realized not only was he correct, but I was in fact bridling against exactly what I stated in many of my posts! I first closed my mind to constructive criticism! And for that I am sorry. Looking into past stuff, I see how we have some how denigrated down to hate and condescening tripe in many comments, throwing out our true nature, but refusing to listen! It's true in discussions here as it is in this crazy political world.
Debate is imperitive for this country to survive. Criticsim is good, provided it is true! As I said, debate must be accompanied by open minds. This must be conducted by using the Truth and Facts! This must be done by educating yourselves! Keep an open mind, but dig up everything you can from both sides. Then make an informed decision. As we go forward, we will be called fear mongers and worse! WEAR IT AS A BADGE OF HONOR. Radicals of any persuasion FEAR the truth and facts, so shout it out as loudly as possible. This is our country. Love for country and the ideals it was founded on IS NOT HATE as the hard left keeps saying. Opposing bad policy IS NOT RACISM as we are charged with! Three Stories of Interest.
Mark Zandi, a top economist in the administration warned today that joblessness will peak at 10.5% and stay around that for a few years to come:
What a crock! Real unemployment is closer to 17%. The rate is going to hover at 10%. Who is anyone kidding? We haven't seen the worse of this by a long shot ! With the debt now already at a point of non sustainability, coupled with the power grab known as health care, cap and trade, the phony stimulus package and everything else ( for you socialist left leaning folks out there, that means much higher taxes and confiscation of earnings and wealth from the folks who really provide the jobs) any one with an ounce of sense can see we are heading for a catastrophe as bad as the depression job wise.
Another Idiot Alert here! GOVERNMENT DOES NOT AND CANNOT CREATE JOBS! They can help create the conditions for private industry to prosper under and then they in turn create the jobs. Add to that the fact that we are indeed bankrupt with a debt that is strangling the economy, compounded with the socialist mentality of tax and spend and you have the recipe for disaster that is today's job market. There is another 1.6 trillion slated to be added to the debt. No matter what these lying sacks of you know what say, someone has to pay for it. Taxes and fees will be and are being raised! And it's going to get worse!
As the government gets more control of the economy, there will be less capitol to invest as it will all go to the Treasury. And seeing that it seems that every government run or controlled program costs three to five times more then it should, walla!, more cash confiscated from the public. I'm no scholar by any stretch of the imagination but I do read! We are going the way of past failed experimants at not only socialism, but of spending our way out of trouble and then laying untennable taxes on the people and the economic engine.
It's not even about the lies any more. It's about the sheer lunacy and ineptness of not only this administration but also the career morons in Congress. What better way to help end a recession then raise taxes to help pay to end said recession which in turn will, as always has been the case,drive us deeper into the said recession that is supposedly just about over according to our our so called leader..."To further insult my and anyone elses intellegince by going further into a debt that can never be paid back and telling us it's for our own good is not only wrong, but assinine! As folks all over lose everything, our so called leaders, scum that they are out the country deeper into a hole!
Obama says he will eliminate the "Don't ask, Don't tell" policies relating to the military:
Just wondering. When our elitist leftist Muslim leaning president is finished with delivering this country into third world status and worse, when thanks to all his capitulations to folks around the world that in turn seems to be leading to a fanatical Muslim led world (after all, they aren't terrorists or anything else other then misunderstood down trodden people that we in the U.S. have doenenothing but take advantage of), what will become of the gays, not only in the military, but period. Idiot alert! The Muslims execute gays!
I ask this not only to rabble rouse as I'm accused of sometimes, LOL!, but in some seriousness. There is one of his advisors that advocates adherence to Shia ( I hope that's the correct spelling) law over our own system. On one hand he preaches tolerance while on the other, his advisors advocate intolerance. Can't have it both ways folks!
Let's take this a bit further. Our fearless leader manages somehow to once again subvert the Constitution and courts are allowed to follow Shia law. A private in the military, openly gay is arrested for public disorder and in the process, it is noted he is in fact gay. Under radical Muslim laws, he can be executed! Sounds far fetched right now, but the direction this country now seem to be heading does in fact appear to be towards embracing the evils of stricy Muslim radicals!
In posing my question today, I am not in any way questioning Gay Rights! I personally don't care what they do as long as it is not forced on me or any one else. It's their lives, not mine. I personally do not believe they should be allowed to marry, but that is just my opinion. But as to rights, they should have the same as the rest of us as long as any tax paying law abiding citizen in this country should have, no matter what my private thoughts on the subject are. But don't think for one minute that there is no intolerance on this issue around the world as some posters seem to be saying! As I note above in my rather extreme example. Let the world go on as it seems to be and we will be pushed into some fanatical world order.
Senators and others escalate calls for more troops:
Just as in the past, we do not learn from our mistakes. Idiot alert! Give our commanders what they need to finish the job now! This isn't rocket science. Go after them, kill them and end this! A commander in chief that appears to have his tail between his legs does absolutely nothing except embolden the madmen and fanatics bent on the destruction of society as we know it!
Grow some balls Mr. President! You aren't in Chicago anymore where people are afraid of the political machine (at least they have been in my 58 years of life and being from there). And don't kid yourself! While the world is lauding you with accolades, they are sneering at your weakness and ineptitude behind your back, plotting the next step towards dismantling this great country!
In my view, I am seeing the same sanctimonius bullshit aimed not only at our military, but at anything that does not fit your socialist, left leaning Anti-American agenda! On top of that, being a so-called scholar (isn't Harvard the best? That's what all of the elite snobs tell us!) you haven't learned crap! if you studied history at all. So here's a lesson for you from Joetote land!
The Russians hate us!! They are and will continue to aid any country that is Anti America! The radical Muslims not only hate us but openly swear to kill and eliminate all of Western civilization that does not subscribe to radical Muslim law ( and let's not forget our friends in Israel that you appear to be throwing to the wolves!) The Chinese hate us! They are more then willing to take our money while openly aiding rogue regimes, Oops, does Korea or Iran ring a bell? And of course don't forget your friends in Venezuaela. Get this straight! Give our commanders the troops. Unleash our military and security apparatus and let us finish this once and for all! More Nobel Garbage, Troop levels and New Taxes
First, a comment:
I have been trying to post on a few of my favorite boards, but it seems that the censors and/or moderators have decided to go well beyond blocking the dirt and smut to rejecting posts with simple words like socialism, Marxism, etc. Quite honestly I'm getting tired of having to heavily edit normal words while at the same time seeing things like FU**CK sneak through. So again, my apologies to the folks on those boards and what appears to be my self-serving plug for my blog. LOL!
For those who have seen some of my stuff, it's some of their fault that I went the blog route as they suggested it. Seriously, those who do happen to see my posts know that I like to debate and discuss without the rancid name calling and other tripe that appears on those boards. I always hope that in discussion I can either convince them of my stands or in fact they can prove me wrong and actually get me to change my views. If nothing else, I believe open civil debate brings ideas to the fore and hopefully something constructive can come from it. Now on to my tirades of the day.
1: I have been reading up not only on the insane health program and among other things notice someone is fianlly admitting there will in fact be higher taxes, etc. coming at us as well as cuts in Medicare. I posted the following, albeit highly edited.
More sheer moronic idiocy! At last at least some of the truth is finally coming out. You will pay more in taxes (in other words, the government will confiscate more of your earnings)! Seniors will see benefits cut! The middle class will pay another tax, penalty my ass!, when they find they cannot afford their insurance. Now we have them claiming 84 billion in savings. Fat whoopie doo when the program is going to cost trillions!
Bottom line. There is no way in Hell this can and will work. it will however finish the complete monetary bankruptcy of our country and drive us into the third world status that every socialized country in the past has experienced! My God people! We're already in a depression here and the idiocy continues! BTW: I still haven't heard one elected representative saying they'll give up their royal benefits for this plan. What hypocrisy!
I for one am sick and tired of being talked down to and lectured not only by all of the political scum in both parties, but also people blinded by ideology or insane hatred for past administration's actions. As I have said in the past, I hold most politicians in high disdain. Doesn’t change the facts. Health Care, Cap and Trade, or anything else this administration is trying to push through is social engineering pure and simple. I have concluded this from studying everything I could get hold of. As for me, last time I looked I live in the United States. Supposedly no one has the right to force me how to think or what to do. And our elected officials (our employees) should keep in mind they do not have the right to shut off debate and or the voice of the people! The people must stay engaged and fight this.
Once we can get past the usual name calling and utter disdain uttered by the lefties (and some from the right, I might add), there is one glaring issue! I do not trust this government and our elected officials! I do not want them to have any control over my life! I do not need hypocritical lying bastards whose only aim is to keep and amass power to tell me what to do, how to do it or what to think!
Someone earlier today post quoted Thomas Jefferson as to big government aand how in essence the bigger it is the easier it is for them to take everything from you.. So the question is this. When in the heck will anyone learn from history! If we allow this to go on, what happened in the old Soviet countries will pale in comparison to what we will see here. I’ll be accused of fear mongering or whatever, but I maintain we are in fact on a dead set march to Socialism and dictatorship. And anyone who is idiotic enough to think it cannot happen needs their head examined, because it already is!
2: As to troop levels in Afghanistan. I mention in my earlier post that I feel the way this guy is approaching this countries enemies and allies is dead wrong. Now, according to stories, it will take a few more weeks to make a decision on a request by his commander in that country for more troops that was made months ago. If the President had any gonads at all, he would stop the crap and make a decision one way or the other. But NO!! He has to have the advice of all his hard left advisors. He's listening to the cries of the far left Socialist leaning "it's us that are wrong, not the fanatical mullahs that swear to destroy us" idiots. I could go on, but basically what I mean is he is listening to everyone except the most important people there, his military leaders!
The commander in chief must lead! In this case, it almost appears he is to busy taking his poor Muslim bretheren into concern instead of the bigger pictue. Before anyone gets into a hissy about that statement, it's easy to think like that when you, A: watch how he reacts to and/or handles a situation and B: Read his own words from his book ( Quote from Obama’s book: Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction..'). So you see, it is quite easy to look at it that way, especially when everytime we turn around, him and his people are out there either apologising for America's ignorance or telling us that we have to understand why they hate us! Combine that with his weak kneed reactions to both N Korea and Iran as to the bomb and all that is shown is a weak, naive, out of touch with reality far left ideologist which in turn keads to the Nobel fiasco!
3: Here he is, sitting there twittering his thumbs and toes trying his best to put of a command decision that would upset his main base. Don't think for one minute this isn't what it's all about because that's exactly what it is! Between his lilly livered handling of both Korea and Iran, his cowtowing to his masters in Russia (seems that way to me, look at my last post) and now his reluctance to make a decision on troops, can someone please explain to me how this jerk rates the Nobel Prize for Peace?! I just don't see anything he has done that has helped prompte peace other then shooting off his big mouth with the usual lies and tripe!
I will say one thing for sure. The countries and peoples out there that hate the US and Western civilization on the whole have got to be emboldened by the embrace of this guy by the leftists around the world. Right now, there is a fanatical madmen sitting there going "mmm! I'm more then justifed to attack America and her interests. After all, the world community condemns everything they stand for". Apparently, in my view, the president of our country in many ways feels the same!
BTW: A note on the loss of the Olympics. Being from Chicago, on one hand, i would like to have seen my home city host such a prestige event. but the more I think about it, I'm extremely glad we lost it. For an organization that is not supposed to be political, the Olympic committee leads the pack in not only sheer hypocrisy but pure chutzpa! For starters, the city would have become a locked down camp. Quite honestly, I don't want anyone from outside this country telling us how to do anything. And of course, the costs in a city and state that already is going broke! Personally, I could care less about the Olympics anymore. they lost their moral standing years ago so Good Riddance!

Right now, there is a fanatical madmen sitting there going "mmm! I'm more then justifed to attack America and her interests. After all, the world community condemns everything they stand for". Apparently, in my view, the president of our country in many ways feels the same!
BTW: A note on the loss of the Olympics. Being from Chicago, on one hand, i would like to have seen my home city host such a prestige event. but the more I think about it, I'm extremely glad we lost it. For an organization that is not supposed to be political, the Olympic committee leads the pack in not only sheer hypocrisy but pure chutzpa! For starters, the city would have become a locked down camp. Quite honestly, I don't want anyone from outside this country telling us how to do anything. And of course, the costs in a city and state that already is going broke! Personally, I could care less about the Olympics anymore. they lost their moral standing years ago so Good Riddance!

More Nobel Garbage
While I freely admire the winners in the sciences and some of the economic categories, I cannot begin to express my sheer disdan for the pick of Vladimir Karl Chamberlain Jr, oops!, I mean Pesident Obama for the peace prize!
This fits right in with the left wing socialist agenda as put forth not only bu this administration, but also the rest of the leftists making up governments around the world. The funny part is, the nobel committee for years ahd been slanted way to the left! Now that one of their fellow travellers is in power here, they couldn't wait to jump on this to glorify what to them is the only thing the people of the world should know, that being a complete socialist world wide government. and if anyone out there thinks for one minute that a co-opted media won't begin to shove this down our throats, you have another thing coming!
What an insult to folks like Roosevelt,Wilson, Sadat and Begin and all the others who earned the recognition over years of effort! Heck. As much as I despised Ted Kennedy. iIwould have voted this award to him long before this clown!

Now we have Iran laughing heartily while they finish putting final touches on their bomb program all with their friends the russians helping out and what did our boy do? Bottom line here. How does someone who ignored what had to be done to prevent 2 countries ruled by madmen and fanatics, one of which as soon as given a chance has sworn to wipe another country off the face of the earth rate a nobel Peace prize. Sure seems to me it should be a booby prize. the world is a much more dangerous place now thanks tho the complete lack of respect in the US which in my view in a direct result of not only this adminiostration, but also the co-opted media and other cry baby peaceniks who really don't give one damn about their fellow country men if it in any way co-opts their misinformed beliefs.

On Meeting With The russians and Iran
I stumbled across a story about Hillary going to meet with the Russians and the fact that Iran would be one of the main points of discussion. Well, whoopee do! A bit to late as to Iran and the bomb folks. Mr. Chamberlain and company, OOPS!, I meant this administration have already let the horse out of the barn! So let's see how this exactly plays out.
Putin pays us lip service while doing eeverything possible to aid Iran behind the scenes. We along with the rest of the "bend over and take it up the you know what" weak kneed leaders hapiily extol the diplomatic negotiations between us while secretly hoping like hell someone will have enough balls to actually do something!
Of course, they'll point out the UN is going to inspect! Wow! I'm so thrilled. There is absolutely nothing that inspires more confidence then having a so called watch dog agency of any kind giving two weeks notice before an inspection! But then again, Iran is an honorable country as they are only doing this for their own needs, I'm sure they wouldn't take the 2 weeks to move and hide stuff. And so what if the inspection does find anything or Iran keeps thumbing it's nose at the world community. What do they care? They, along with the rest of their allies will just go on their merry way, happily thumbing their nose at the so called civilized world community.
As they are laughing at our weakness, the UN and Chamberlain and company will INVOKE SANCTIONS! Oh Shit! That should give them a good scare, especially since there is no way sanctions can keep them from being supplied over land. After all, there isn't anyone in this or any other country that would have the balls to try and stop the Russians and Chinese from supplying them. Sad part is, it's a moot point! They can and will make a bomb.

With absolutely no idea how to run a country, a war or an economy, it's always a good thing to get one's marching orders from the people who really know. Cold hard fact here. On government misleading The Public
Well folks, off on one of my tirades. I ran across a story and report as to the public being misled as to the soundness of banks being bailed out to the tune of 125 billion dollars.
First and foremost, I believe in capitalism and the free enterprise system so in my view, it's bad enough that the government intervened in the first place with what I see is an ill conceived plan.
Pure and simple. The economic collapse we are experiencing (and it's getting worse, not better!) was and is being caused by government intervention into every facet of our lives and businesses.
History teaches us and in theory, people should learn from it. Instead the electorate and as an extension their elected officials keep making the same mistakes as the past, always justifying it in their mind dead state with "we can do it right" this time. So we are at a crossroads. The debt this government has foisted upon the people is completely unsustainable with another 1.5 trillion minimum slated to be added to it this next fiscal year.
I'm not sure of the percentages per say, but it sure looks like we are going the way of the Weimarch in the 30's and (was it the late 50's?) Argentina when both went into extreme hyper-inflation. In the case of Germany, they freely elected a mesmerizing speaker, not bothering to really look at what they were getting. We all know what that led to. In Argentina, Peron made things worse. So we get the usual! What better way to help end a recession then raise taxes to help pay to end said recession which in turn will, as always has been the case, drive us deeper into the said recession that is supposedly just about over according to our so called leader...".
Unfortunately, history shows this never works! Again, history should teach. 2 examples of many that could be brought forth. So many times, peoples have freely given up their rights and liberties because they did not do their homework. They listened to the LIES! History shows in graphic glory that Socialism does not work! But the electorate here chose to not only ignore history, but didn't even bother to take their jobs as voters seriously! For years, they have put the same scum into office, never bothering to actually educate themselves as to not only the candidates, but also the problems facing this country. So now we have this particular story.
The sad thing is that for years this has been business as usual! The various administrations, etc. have all misled the public to get what they want. And why not? Of the eligible voters in this country, less then 49% actually bother to exercise their right to vote. Of that 49% only half of them bother to actually educate themselves as to the issues or candidates. the other 25% votes with their hands out, blindly asking for more as they are entitled to it, never giving a wit that it is their responsibility to take care of themselves, not their fellow citizens.
There is a lot of blame to go around, from the present leftist administration to the scum bag Republicans, all of who have forgotten that they are the servants of the people, not royalty! Again history. These officials keep repeating the mistakes of history as most of the peoples in the world have been wont to do. Now look at us. We are on the edge of hyper-inflation and a depression.
This isn't fear mongering folks! This is fact! Our grandchildren are already close to $180,000 in debt the day they are born.Joblessness is going up. It can't go down! There is no money left for the private sector to create jobs (BTW: Fallacy Alert for those who don't know this! Government does not create jobs!). Every bailout, every lie to prop up (actually Nationalize in the case of this leftist government we have right now, no matter what they want you to believe) a set of companies, banks, etc. bankrupts our nation further. And we are bankrupt folks, both monetarily and morally!
So bottom line! did they lie to us? Of course they did! SOP! Hard ideologues of either stripe will do anything to get what they want, the people be damned! Which means what? This is our fault! Anyone of us that either didn't bother to vote or marched lockstep into the booth blinded by insane ideology! Sorry for the tirade but everyone has to realize our country and our existence as we know it our in great peril. This isn't a joke anymore.
Bit of an old repeat of mine here! It's not even about the lies any more. It's about the sheer lunacy and ineptness of not only this administration but also the career morons in Congress. Again, please note: There is blame on both sides, from the spineless creatures in the GOP to the Leftist Anti-American agenda being put forward by the Dems. Doesn't change the facts! This isn't rocket science folks! This is the future of your country and the erosion of your rights if you choose to ignore it any longer! Politicians of all stripes in all countries always practice the BIG LIE!
I'm of the belief that the silent majority has finally opened it's eyes to not only the hypocrisy of the current administration, but also to the blatant abuse of power by all career politicians of either stripe! The current administration at this minute is the whipping boy of record, and rightfully so! But that is only the tip of the iceberg! The abuses of power, the lies, the idiocy goes back for years, on both sides. The electorate chose to ignore it as is normally the case in this country.
Freedom comes at a cost, not just in fighting for it on the battle fields! The electorate, snuggled in their comfort zone ignored the fact that their elected officials, the ones that promised and lied over and over were in fact consolidating power to themselves! Then, shock! The people suddenly discovered their officials were acting more like royalty! So this is where it's at folks! We have a completely unresponsive government. They easily talk down to us. They have bankrupted this country with their insane policies!
But it's not just money wise that this has happened. Our current elected officials of both parties are bankrupt of ideals! They are bankrupt morally! They have completely lost sight of the United States of America, her dreams and her ideals! The silent majority isn't quite as stupid as our so called leaders think. Now, when we finally stand up and fight back, they run. They might have to answer a question rather then tell the same old lie. So of course, they now have to figure out another lie to foist on the people! And please note! This attitude towards the common citizen is on display from the majority of elected officials! Finally the silent majority is willing to fight back. What took so long?

Starters!
Well, here we go! First and foremost, I want to thank the folks on other boards, etc .who encouraged me to start this blog. It is always gratifying to think one can in fact get someone to at least think about another position and/or way to look at something. In the future I will comment on just about anything. Politics of course is my main concern at the moment, but I'll also focus on sports (Especially the Horseracing and it's problems and my beloved Blackhawks ).
One note here. This is going to be a long one folks! I tend to ramble and get quite inrense on subjects, so please bear with me and my apologies for length. I hope what I put out today is looked at as a general way as to how I feel about things. For now, let it suffice that in the future, I will mostly comment on specific events rather then what I did today.
As we know, the people elected a new president last year. We are now at a critical juncture for our country. We have added 1.6 trillion dollars to the debt with another 1.5 trillion scheduled for the next fiscal year. this country is in effect bankrupt. There cannont be the kind of recovery needed without some midicum of sanity from our elected officials.
And there is the main problem! We the People not only keep electing the same corrupt immoral people, but when we get mad and want change (the 50% that even bother) we vote with anything except our brains! We do not do our homework or take our most precious right, the vote, seriously! We vote for promises or lies. We do not study and learn everything we need to know. and then we make a horrible mistake as it looks like we have made this last election cycle.
We of course have the racism charges. We have people taking others to task for opposing bad policy! I can go on and on but you get my drift. I'm going to put up a post made somewhere else a couple weeks ago. Please remember one thing. I speak from love for my country, the ideals it was found on and the morals I was raised on. Our forefathers gave us a beautiful thing! My father and two step fathers as well as countless others gave their blood and lives to give us what we have. It is imperitive the people somehow get this back into their minds.
I'm not sure where it all went wrong, but as I said, we are at a crossroads. We either save our country now or we continue our march into Socialism and in effect third world status.

Don't forget, Hitler was freely elected originally!
Repeat post 2: A long one but my true feelings on alot of things!I respect the office of the presidency. Having said that, I sure as hell do not have to respect the man in that office! Anyone who is so completely blind as to what Obama and his minions are up to are beyond help! It is interesting that I and others are accused of racism, terrorism and whatever else when pointing out FACTS! The really sad part is that for those of us that try to engage in debate in a civil fashion, we are vilified even worse then the idiots that keep reverting to names and the rest of the garbage strewn around this and other boards.
I admit I did not vote for this man. As upset as I was with Bush, I still could not bring myself to do that, based on everything I could find out about him BEFORE THE ELECTION! He is going in the exact direction I was afraid of with the exact kind of advisors I would have expected him to appoint!.
As usual I see the usual 3/4 idiotic blurbs interlaced with the rest of us that try to debate any issue civilly. It seems like every board I go to there is a refusal to just debate a subject. Once we get past the garbage spewed by not only the lefty loonies, but also the morons on the right (I am in fact an equal opportunity disdainer, LOL!), there still remains one salient fact. This country is in trouble! You can make any argument pro or con, but it doesn't change the facts! The electorate allowed this to happen!
Fact: There is in fact a co-opted media! At this particular moment in time, so called conservative media outlets are vilified and/or marginalized by the powers that be. Whether anyone wants to believe it or not, when, you have a communications official advising the White House who in his own words seems to admire a person like Chavez and his control of the media, we should worry. Why? Freedom of speech and thought folks! This is not a new thing. Every administration to some degree has had control over the message. but in my life I do not remember it being this blatant.
So why should we be shocked when the networks refuse to air anything counter to what the administration they are in bed with stands for? CONTROL OF THE MEDIA! CONTROL OF THE MESSAGE! The lemmings will follow as long as you can keep the LIE in front of them, always hiding the truth!
BTW: When I post, I do it after digging into every facet of information I can digest. I'm just a hard working guy, high school grad who after 58 years has worked my way to the top of my profession. I read and listen to everything I can from either side (that's a novel concept I'm sure for all folks of ideological lock step idiocy of either stripe out there). I pretty much hold the majority of politicians, right or left in disdain as anyone who has seen my post would know.

Not only off subject, but it is extremely disheartening to see this kind of ignorance from anyone. Part of what is going on is this insanity of race relations. We (those of us that are citizens) are Americans! Period. The folks that resort to racial and/or any other biased tripe offend me! We have one huge problem people! It is our elected officials, their leftist policies, and the fact that they are trying to control the media and the message!
BTW: Many on the so called right in office now are just as guilty leading us on the road to the left! Get your heads out of your asses! Our country is being destroyed from within and we all better act before it is too late!

We the people must now chase down the truth about not only the rest of this radical administration, but any career politician that has put his/her power mad hunger before his constituents! As I have said in the past, the silent majority has a bad habit of letting things go way to long and as such, the country gets into situations like now. but once we wake up, watch out! "We the People" have had enough! The very survival of the country that our forefathers founded, that they fought and died for so "We the People" could exercise our rights and freedoms is at great peril!
A leader can distinguish himself in many ways. However, you can always tell the most about them in their action, words and with whom they surround themselves with. This administration is filled with hard left radical people! This president in his own words is a Marxist (read his book!). As a leader, this president as well as Holder and both houses of the Legislature have refused to , heck forget wanting them to at least disavow or not condone actions such as we see with Acorn, condemn and/or investigate or go after these people. The people that he has surrounded himself with all are of the same ideological stripe. In Their Own Words and Actions! It is there for all to see and has been for years!
And our country is suffering a slow death as we do not have a leadership with enough moral fiber or belief in our ideals to stand up to it. They only condemn what will hurt them, not caring a wit about the electorate.! This is not what my forefathers fought to give us!
Before the lefties get their panties in a bunch, I state again. I was against Obama before the election, BASED ON FACTS I WAS ABLE TO GET FROM DOING MY HOMEWORK! Unlike you and others out there though, I was willing to give the guy a chance to hopefully grow into the office as he was duly elected under our laws. Well, he didn't! He has proven beyond a doubt, in my opinion that he is one of the worse things that has ever happened to this country. As has been the case since he has been in office, Obama's administration has chosen to talk down to or ignore the general populace! As the electorate ( the barely 50% that even bothered) was stupid enough to allow this man to be voted in due to their own refusal to take their jobs a voters seriously, this is the kind of government you get.

For the purposes of this discussion! This is not just a protest against the extreme left policies being put forth by this administration. I'm of the belief that the silent majority has finally opened it's eyes to not only the hypocrisy of the current administration, but also to the blatant abuse of power by all career politicians of either stripe! The abuses of power, the lies, the idiocy goes back for years, on both sides. the electorate chose to ignore it as is normally the case in this country.
Freedom comes at a cost, not just in fighting for it on the battle fields! The electorate, snuggled in their comfort zone ignored the fact that their elected officials, the ones that promised and lied over and over were in fact consolidating power to themselves! Then, shock! The people suddenly discovered their officials were acting more like royalty!
So this is where it's at folks! We have a completely unresponsive government. They easily talk down to us. They have bankrupted this country with their insane policies! But it's not just money wise that this has happened. Our current elected officials of both parties are bankrupt of ideals! They are bankrupt morally! They have completely lost sight of the United States of America, her dreams and her ideals!
The silent majority isn't quite as stupid as our so called leaders think. Now, when we finally stand up and fight back, they run. They might have to answer a question rather then tell the same old lie. So of course, they now have to figure out another lie to foist on the people! And please note! One note here. This is going to be a long one folks! I tend to ramble and get quite inrense on subjects, so please bear with me and my apologies for length. I hope what I put out today is looked at as a general way as to how I feel about things. For now, let it suffice that in the future, I will mostly comment on specific events rather then what I did today.
As we know, the people elected a new president last year. We are now at a critical juncture for our country. We have added 1.6 trillion dollars to the debt with another 1.5 trillion scheduled for the next fiscal year. this country is in effect bankrupt. There cannont be the kind of recovery needed without some midicum of sanity from our elected officials.
And there is the main problem! We the People not only keep electing the same corrupt immoral people, but when we get mad and want change (the 50% that even bother) we vote with anything except our brains! We do not do our homework or take our most precious right, the vote, seriously! We vote for promises or lies. We do not study and learn everything we need to know. and then we make a horrible mistake as it looks like we have made this last election cycle.
We of course have the racism charges. We have people taking others to task for opposing bad policy! I can go on and on but you get my drift. I'm going to put up a post made somewhere else a couple weeks ago. Please remember one thing. I speak from love for my country, the ideals it was found on and the morals I was raised on. Our forefathers gave us a beautiful thing! My father and two step fathers as well as countless others gave their blood and lives to give us what we have. It is imperitive the people somehow get this back into their minds.
I'm not sure where it all went wrong, but as I said, we are at a crossroads. We either save our country now or we continue our march into Socialism and in effect third world status.

This country is in trouble! You can make any argument pro or con, but it doesn't change the facts! The electorate allowed this to happen!

Whether anyone wants to believe it or not, when, you have a communications official advising the White House who in his own words seems to admire a person like Chavez and his control of the media, we should worry. Why? Freedom of speech and thought folks! This is not a new thing. Every administration to some degree has had control over the message. but in my life I do not remember it being this blatant.
So why should we be shocked when the networks refuse to air anything counter to what the administration they are in bed with stands for? CONTROL OF THE MEDIA! CONTROL OF THE MESSAGE! The lemmings will follow as long as you can keep the LIE in front of them, always hiding the truth!
BTW: When I post, I do it after digging into every facet of information I can digest. I'm just a hard working guy, high school grad who after 58 years has worked my way to the top of my profession.
