Rather than go off on one of my rants, here's a few things from this last few days from Charles Krauthammer. As usual, he is right on with his comments as to the Putin's puppet.
“So much for Obama’s repeated insistence that Assad must go. Indeed, Putin has openly demanded that any negotiation be conditioned on a U.S. commitment to forswear the use of force against Assad. On Thursday, Assad repeated that demand, warning that without an American pledge not to attack and not to arm the rebels, his government would agree to nothing.
This would abolish the very possibility of America tilting the order of battle in a Syrian war that Assad is now winning thanks to Russian arms, Iranian advisers and Lebanese Hezbollah shock troops. Putin thus assures the survival of his Syrian client and the continued ascendancy of the anti-Western Iranian bloc.
And what does America get? Obama saves face.”
Some deal."
Not long after he said that, the WSJ reported what of course has been obvious to any moron other than our President and his Sec. of State:
"A secretive Syrian military unit has been moving stocks of poison gases and munitions to as many as 50 sites to make them harder for the U.S. to track, American and Middle Eastern officials said on Thursday.
The movements of chemical weapons by Syria's elite Unit 450 could complicate any U.S. bombing campaign in Syria over its chemical attacks, the officials told The Wall Street Journal .
Further, the activity raises questions about the implementation of a Russian proposal that calls for the regime to surrender control of its stockpiles, they said."
And let's end with Charles once again as he nails it as to the unbelievable B.S. being spouted trying to give Comrade Obama all the credit:
"But the fact is
that the idea that you guys are spinning from the White House that it was the
threat of the use of force that scared Putin into offering this; if so, he
would have offered a week ago or two weeks ago when it really appeared
imminent.
When did he offer it? Within hours
after there was a gaffe by our Secretary of State, the Laurel to Obama's Hardy,
who said, “Well, you know, if you get rid of his weapons.” They saw an opening.
They know that there is no way he’ll dismantle his weapons, but it would stop
any attempt to get rid of Assad. Putin has a single objective: he wants Assad
in place - keep him in place, and win the war. And that he’s achieving."
Oh, and let's not forget that according to reports, we are "arming the rebels" and the flow of weapons to them has increased. It's so wonderful to know we are now allies with the very people who flew planes into the WTC and Pentagon among other things!
And of course, let me once again close with Judge Jeannine. sometimes I think she reads my mind before she does her opening statements, but as usual, she hits a grand slam.
