On this Memorial Day weekend, I first and foremost want to express my eternal gratitude to the brave people who have given their lives to preserve my freedom as well as honor those who serve today. I am able to sit here and express my opinion (or go into one of my tirades, LOL!) because of the freedoms these brave men and woman have fought to preserve. I and everyone in this country are beholden to them. My heartfelt love and respect to all of our military! Thank you!!!
I was happy to see that the President has asked for all of us to honor our military people. Yet in many ways, I found it disingenuous at best. After all, it’s hard for me to take at face value he really wants to honor our fallen heroes when he is trampling on every right they fought for! And to add to the insult, he can’t even have his sorry ass at Arlington to honor our dead! I’ve voiced in the past my feelings about this leftist idiot in the White house and the fact that he is stripping the U.S. of her very identity. As such, I do not sense an ounce of pride or sincerity coming from the President as to our military. To me, the only reason he asks at all is for political cover.
A few other things on my mind today. Korea! They attack a South Korean ship and sink it. China says it cannot make a decision as to whether the evidence, which is quite conclusive, supports the charge. N. Korea threatens everyone as to what will happen if there is any reaction against them. The President says he will stand by his allies and then turns and gives lip service to China. N.Korea of course, as does most of the rest of the world, sees us as a paper tiger at best and happily goes about it’s business, sneering at every remark from our inept administration.
Moron Alert! They have a bomb! Good Lord!How many times do I have to point this out? We have 32,000 troops stationed across the border in S. Korea. There is a madman in charge in the North. They have a delivery system. You cannot negotiate with madmen (OOPS! I forgot. Obama doesn’t have the balls to actually be strong. To busy playing Chamberlain games). This guy is so out of touch with reality, he thinks he can open his mouth and the world will bend to his every wish. He hasn’t learned anything yet after over a year in office. Maybe the U.N.can help! What a joke. No different then having a member of his administration refusing to state that “Radical Islamists” are part of the problem as to terrorism. You can't negotiate with hard line ideologists. Obama of all people should realize this. After all, he steadfastly refuses to listen to anything he disagrees with.
While we’re on the foreign relations subject, I was wondering about this. Who in the hell came up with the idea that we should apologize to China for the Arizona law? Can someone please tell me this? We’re apologizing for a state that decided to enforce our laws? We’re apologizing and telling one of the most evil countries in the world we’re wrong? A President who refuses to enforce our laws for his own political gain allows one of his lackeys to discredit our country and laws? Yet, he refuses to meet with the Governor of Arizona. He is having his Attorney General review and probably file suit against a law they never read, but happily bad mouth. And finally, he sends 1,200 troops, but won’t let them do anything! All for political gain. I noticed a story today about Falcon Lake on the border and how pirates are actually robbing people at gunpoint on the lake. And what are we doing about that Presdient Obama! Answer! Not a damned thing!
I have one last rant today, something that the more I think about it, the madder I’m getting. I have never been more sickened then I was when the President of Mexico addressed Congress. The man basically told us we had no right to make or enforce laws that would secure our borders and stop the flow of illegals. He lectured us! And what happened. He gets a standing ovation from the Democrats in attendance and a nice approval from the President! In other words, these people are more then happy to subvert and/or ignore our laws to gain the Hispanic vote. This to me is tantamount to TREASON! Who in the hell does he think he is, coming into our Congress and berating us? And just what kind of scum does it take to stand and openly agree with this? I’ll tell you what it takes. Hard left Socialist garbage, led by the most Anti-American ideal president in our history. These treasonous bastards are willing to put up with anything in order to keep their phony baloney jobs, country be damned!
Finally, I mentioned in my last post, my trip home to Chicago for the Stanley Cup playoffs and the wonderful time I had. I also had a chance to see my sister Donna, her husband Rick and one of their daughter, Erin. Erin entered her first horse competition on Saturday, placing first and took 2 seconds on Sunday. All in all, it was the perfect weekend.

Hawks Win! Hawks Win!
Paraphrasing Pat Foley. Hawks Win!
I had the great fortune of attending the last two games at the United Center in which the Chicago Blackhawks played their way to the Stanley Cup Finals. Of course, for a pure Hawk fan, this is next to heaven so just a few passing comments.
The United Center is a great arena. There is really something special when you first get to your seat. You look up and see the championship banners hanging in the rafters and just have to marvel at the sight (Bulls banners also). Then there are the retired numbers. The greatest of the great that have played for this storied franchise.
Chicago fans are the greatest in the world, so it comes as no surprise that the arena erupts with pure joy and rapture when Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita, Tony Esposito or any other great Hawk of the past is waving to the crowd. Vince Vaughn, Dennis James and others at rink side, normal guys watching their team with the rest of us.
The game of course is the center of attention and the noise is beyond belief. Every shot, every hit and every move by the players is cheered or booed relentlessly. Hawks fans don't seem to quiet down when the team falls behind as most team's fans do.Tthey just start yelling louder urging the team to get to work. In the eyes of many, the Hawks are an extension of the city itself, a bunch of blue collar guys putting away their lunch buckets and finishing the job. The Hawks did that in spades yesterday.
However, their is something about going to a Hawks game that transcends the game itself. THE ANTHEM! Never in my life have I seen or been part of anything like the singing of the Anthem in Chicago. A few years ago, I was at the Cubs playoffs and Wayne Messmer did the anthem. Amazing how the folks at Wrigley responded. but sheer peanuts compared to the Hawks crowd.
The red carpet is rolled onto the ice. A service man and a WWII veteran is introduced to the crowd to be honored. Of course, the crowd is already going nuts as they come onto the ice. The applause doesn't stop but gets louder as the anthem is sung and the noise reaches deafening crescendos as the high notes are reached. But through it all, you hear the people singing the words! Unbelievable, but you actually hear it! You see the tears running down their faces as they honor our country. My wife had never been to a game before Friday. I turned to her as they reached the end of the anthem. The tears were running down her cheeks as she finished singing.
That moment,that experience itself was worth the price of admission. This wasn't just a hockey crowd and never has been there. Hawks fans wear their patriotism on their sleeves and I was never prouder of being a native Chicagoan then I am now.
Now, on to the finals!! Go Hawks!

Arizona's tough new law against illegal immigration has prompted furious protests and boycotts but Jewish groups say opponents who compare it with the rise of Nazi Germany are going too far.
"It diminishes the Holocaust," said Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder and dean of the Wiesenthal Center, an internationally known Holocaust studies center based in Los Angeles.
"Survivors and others are very upset about this," he said Friday. "When you exaggerate, it's very harmful to them when they know that their mothers and fathers were taken to the gas chambers without any recourse to the law. They lost children."
Along with that we have the idiot better known as the Attorney General voicing his completely asinine opinions on the subject.

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., who has been critical of Arizona’s new immigration law, said Thursday he hasn’t yet read the law and is going by what he’s read in newspapers or seen on television.
Mr. Holder is conducting a review of the law, at President Obama’s request, to see if the federal government should challenge it in court. He said he expects he will read the law by the time his staff briefs him on their conclusions.
This is beyond amazing. Holder basically calls the majority of the citizens of the U.S. racists and Anti-Hispanic bigots, openly criticizing a law that he has not read. By his own admission! He say’s he is conducting a review of the law. Between him and the ignorant racist in the White House, all he has done is open him self up to the criticism he so richly deserves! The fact that the Senate ignored everything about this Anti-American legal beagle and confirmed this un-qualified idiot speaks loads to the complete lack of integrity in the halls of Congress. Besides that, he flat out refuses to address Radical Muslim terrorists as such. In every way, this man shows an ignorance that is disgusting in scope and nature. But we shouldn’t be shocked buy this. The President has made sure to stack his cabinet with Anti-American, Anti-rule of the law folks.
The complete blindness to the immigration problem is bad enough as evidenced by the Attorney General’s statements. As I have said before,the fact that this (and past) administrations are willing to put political expediency before the safety of our citizens is treason! So, it should be even less surprising that our boy Weird Wille should weigh in on the subject with one of the most inane comments I have seen yet!
Bill Clinton: More Immigrants Will Reduce Deficit
The U.S. needs more immigrants and a value-added tax to help reduce the deficit, former President Bill Clinton said Friday.
Clinton said the country was "mortgaging out a lot of our sovereignty" by using foreign creditors to pay for an "exploding" debt.
His recipe? More growth and revenue, fueled by immigrant workers and a controversial value-added tax.
I think we're going to have to have more taxpayers, which is why I favor, in a disciplined way, immigration reform and letting more immigrants come to the country," Clinton told CNBC. "I think it would make more jobs for people who are unemployed, not fewer.
"Second, Clinton said, more tax revenue could be collected by imposing a value-added tax, which taxes products at each stage of the manufacturing or distribution process.
"I think they ought to look at a progressive value-added tax, just because — and I think it's important the American people understand this — most of our competitors have tax systems like this," Clinton said.
Moron Alert! There’s millions of these people here Bill, 14 million or more ILLEGALLY! And you have the utter gall to not only invite more in but to also advocate the VAT!? First and foremost! No one is allowed in this country ILLEGALLY! No One! Take your stance on more immigrant workers to add to the tax rolls and blow it out your ass! I really want to know as whatever it is leads to severe delusions and apparently idiocy. The U.S. national debt will soon reach 100% of GDP, the IMF predicts in a new report.
The following graph shows the sharp rise in U.S. debt starting in around 2006. By 2015, the IMF suggests, debt could reach well over 100% of GDP.
The IMF predicts that the U.S. would need to reduce its structural deficit by the equivalent of 12% of GDP, a much larger portion than any other country analyzed except Japan. Greece, in the midst of a financial crisis, needs to reduce its structural deficit by just 9% of GDP, according to the IMF's analysis.
In previous posts, I have ranted about the un-sustainability of the present course we are taking as to our insane Federal Spending. The above says it all. And yet, the Socialist in Chief along with the Leftist scum in Congress do nothing but advocate more spending and more control over the economy! We are broke people! We can’t entitle everyone to free handouts any more. Anti-American Hatred: The New Way It's Done
This is another long winded one folks. apologies in advance for that.
Although I didn’t want to go onto this particular subject again, events of the last week or so have me so boiling mad that I have no choice but to vent my spleen. The subject? Immigration issues, race baiting and the utter disdain for the United States by the very people who go out of their way to foment the hatred we are now seeing.
Let me address the Arizona debacle one more time. Over the last week, we have had demonstrations galore against the Arizona law by not only the “Latino” population, but also the race baiters and Anti-American scum that usually make their repulsive appearances when they see a chance to inject hate into anything they do not like. It’s bad enough we have the usual suspects such as Jesse, Sharpton and others spewing their sheer bigotry, but we also have the leaders of our country standing in line to vilify those of us who believe laws are made to be obeyed. We’ve heard from Hillary, Gibbs and most other politicians who’s only real concern is pandering to the “Latino” community to aid their political careers. Heaven forbid they actually state they would want to enforce laws that are already on the books. Might piss off the very people they subjugate the most.
Sadly though, this goes all the way up to the President. Every time you turn around, he manages to inject racist hate under the guise of “social justice” into the conversation. His speech the other day clearly shows his disdain for all law abiding citizens in this country if their views counter his. 60% of the people in this country, including many Legal Immigrants agree with the Arizona law. Yet our President chooses to not only ignore the fact that “illegal” means just that, but instead he injects racist hate as a means to an end.
I for one will stand tall with the people of Arizona and everyone else in this country that wants the laws of our land enforced. The fact that this administration, as well as every other lunatic out there who feels that the vermin coming across the boarder illegally have “rights”, while the citizens of our country have to bend over and take it up where the sun doesn’t shine as people are murdered and crime becomes more rampant is way beyond my comprehension. Murder is ok as long as it is politically expedient for our racist leaders! Despicable!!
Of course, the idiocy couldn’t stop with that. Nope! Instead we got to watch political correctness and in effect more “injected racial hatred” along with Anti-American sentiment go berserk. Of course, I’m referring to the case in California where kids were sent home from school for wearing patriotic T-shirts. By now we should be used to Anti-American garbage from officials and such, but this one has sent me over the edge.

According to published reports, the five boys were sitting at a table when they were ordered to remove American flag bandannas and turn their flag t-shirts inside-out. When they refused, they were taken to the principal’s office.
“They told us basically we take it off or we can get suspended,” Matthew Dariano told KCBA, the FOX affiliate in Monterey.
“They said we could wear it on any other day, but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it’s supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today,” said Daniel Galli, in an interview with the KTVU in San Francisco.
The students were allegedly told that Cinco de Mayo is “not the day for patriotism.”
“I have no problem with them wearing their Mexico flags,” student Dominic Macio told KCBA. “I just thought I’d show my pride, my American pride.”
Mexican-American students at the high school said they were offended by the American flag displays and demanded action. Some students demanded the boys apologize because it was a Mexican heritage day.
When it comes to an apology, the boys and their families said, “Fat chance.”
“I just couldn’t believe it,” Julie Fagerstrom told the Morgan Hill Times. Her son is one of the students in trouble. “I’m an open-minded parent, but it’s got to be on both sides. It can’t be five kids singled out.”
Other students were allowed to display the Mexican flag as well as dress in the colors of the Mexican flag. The school even sponsored a group of professional dancers who performed and play Mexican music.

Later Galli commented on the episode by saying, “They said we could wear it on any other day, but today is sensitive to Mexican Americans because it’s supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today.” “They said if we tried to go back to class with our shirts not taken off, they said it was defiance and we would get suspended,” Dominic Maciel, Galli’s friend, said. The boys were sent home to avoid suspension. They had a grudge as they were not allowed to wear their American Pride on their sleeve, literally. Their parents are upset and called this incident as “total nonsense”. But to many Mexican students at Live Oak this was a big deal. “I think they should apologize cause it is a Mexican Heritage Day,” Annicia Nunez, a Live Oak High student, said. “We don’t deserve to be get disrespected like that. We wouldn’t do that on Fourth of July.”

Let us grant that the four boys at Live Oak High School who wore American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo were not behaving sensitively toward their Latino classmates.
Let us acknowledge that they were immature, even offensive, when they picked a Mexican holiday to exhibit their patriotism.
It was a more subtle message than the Border Patrol T-shirts that some kids tried wearing in the San Jose Unified District. But given our battles over immigration, it was not a wholly friendly message.
Let us grant all that. It was still a mistake for an assistant principal to ask them to turn the T-shirts inside out or go home. It was a mistake not to let them wear the flag.
I don't say that because I'm a big flag-waving patriot. I loathe the simple dictums of the tea party movement. I hate the Arizona law that allows cops to demand papers on the street.
But as a professional rabble-rouser, I believe in free speech, even offensive speech. And I don't think an American flag T-shirt meets the standard for squelching — not even on Cinco de Mayo in a Morgan Hill high school that is 40 percent Latino.

I have had it up to here with this Bull! I do not and will never begrudge anyone their heritage. I for one am Norwegian and Jewish. My grandparents came into the country legally and earned their citizenship as have millions of good law abiding people from all over. I’m proud of my heritage. But I sure as hell do not force it on other people! I do not demand respect for some phony baloney holiday and I sure as hell could care less whether they wear something that depicts their home countries. But to have some ingrate demand an apology from an American citizen for showing our colors is an affront to my way of thinking. This is the United States! It’s time love of our country and her ideals was put back on the front burner. Those of you who don’t like my feelings on this can bite it! I refuse to allow anyone of any ilk to tell me or any person in this country what they can think or say. This is what has happened in this case. It is a combination of insane political correctness, racism and hatred put forth by people who want what this country has to give but hate what we as a country stand for. I’m sick of it!
Finally, as I mentioned earlier, the President and his lackeys have happily injected racial hatred and/or class warfare into just about every thing they do so as to push forth their Anti-American agenda. Yes, I am calling the President a racist of the worst kind. Again, he buries himself in his own words.
I’m sure the last thing he would want to do is piss off the Hispanic population and take a common sense stand as to the 5 kids in California. I have gone through God knows how many news stories from all sources (I admit I could have missed something, but I have looked at close to 600 stories and postings on this) as to the Flag controversy. I have yet to find one word from the administration, Congressmen, Senators and of course the usual race baiters I mentioned above. What about it Mr. President? Do you actually hate what this country stands for so much that you and other leaders refuse to take a stand for the rights of these 5 teens? Is your sorry political hide so important to you that you choose to ignore the disrespect shown to the American flag and our citizens just so you can get the Mexican-American vote?
One last question. Why do you even bother to wear the American flag on your lapel, Mr. President? I really wonder about that because almost every action I see coming from you is dead set against the very basic ideals this country was founded on. I have in the past pointed out how I feel about your Socialistic leanings as well as your wimpy apologetic posture towards the world in general. And now you and others choose to ignore blatant Anti-American Freedom of Speech issues as to our flag! Why is that Mr. President?
Although I didn’t want to go onto this particular subject again, events of the last week or so have me so boiling mad that I have no choice but to vent my spleen. The subject? Immigration issues, race baiting and the utter disdain for the United States by the very people who go out of their way to foment the hatred we are now seeing.
Let me address the Arizona debacle one more time. Over the last week, we have had demonstrations galore against the Arizona law by not only the “Latino” population, but also the race baiters and Anti-American scum that usually make their repulsive appearances when they see a chance to inject hate into anything they do not like. It’s bad enough we have the usual suspects such as Jesse, Sharpton and others spewing their sheer bigotry, but we also have the leaders of our country standing in line to vilify those of us who believe laws are made to be obeyed. We’ve heard from Hillary, Gibbs and most other politicians who’s only real concern is pandering to the “Latino” community to aid their political careers. Heaven forbid they actually state they would want to enforce laws that are already on the books. Might piss off the very people they subjugate the most.
Sadly though, this goes all the way up to the President. Every time you turn around, he manages to inject racist hate under the guise of “social justice” into the conversation. His speech the other day clearly shows his disdain for all law abiding citizens in this country if their views counter his. 60% of the people in this country, including many Legal Immigrants agree with the Arizona law. Yet our President chooses to not only ignore the fact that “illegal” means just that, but instead he injects racist hate as a means to an end.
I for one will stand tall with the people of Arizona and everyone else in this country that wants the laws of our land enforced. The fact that this administration, as well as every other lunatic out there who feels that the vermin coming across the boarder illegally have “rights”, while the citizens of our country have to bend over and take it up where the sun doesn’t shine as people are murdered and crime becomes more rampant is way beyond my comprehension. Murder is ok as long as it is politically expedient for our racist leaders! Despicable!!
Of course, the idiocy couldn’t stop with that. Nope! Instead we got to watch political correctness and in effect more “injected racial hatred” along with Anti-American sentiment go berserk. Of course, I’m referring to the case in California where kids were sent home from school for wearing patriotic T-shirts. By now we should be used to Anti-American garbage from officials and such, but this one has sent me over the edge.

According to published reports, the five boys were sitting at a table when they were ordered to remove American flag bandannas and turn their flag t-shirts inside-out. When they refused, they were taken to the principal’s office.
“They told us basically we take it off or we can get suspended,” Matthew Dariano told KCBA, the FOX affiliate in Monterey.
“They said we could wear it on any other day, but today is sensitive to Mexican-Americans because it’s supposed to be their holiday so we were not allowed to wear it today,” said Daniel Galli, in an interview with the KTVU in San Francisco.
The students were allegedly told that Cinco de Mayo is “not the day for patriotism.”
“I have no problem with them wearing their Mexico flags,” student Dominic Macio told KCBA. “I just thought I’d show my pride, my American pride.”
Mexican-American students at the high school said they were offended by the American flag displays and demanded action. Some students demanded the boys apologize because it was a Mexican heritage day.
When it comes to an apology, the boys and their families said, “Fat chance.”
“I just couldn’t believe it,” Julie Fagerstrom told the Morgan Hill Times. Her son is one of the students in trouble. “I’m an open-minded parent, but it’s got to be on both sides. It can’t be five kids singled out.”
Other students were allowed to display the Mexican flag as well as dress in the colors of the Mexican flag. The school even sponsored a group of professional dancers who performed and play Mexican music.

The boys were sent home to avoid suspension. They had a grudge as they were not allowed to wear their American Pride on their sleeve, literally. Their parents are upset and called this incident as “total nonsense”. But to many Mexican students at Live Oak this was a big deal. “I think they should apologize cause it is a Mexican Heritage Day,” Annicia Nunez, a Live Oak High student, said. “We don’t deserve to be get disrespected like that. We wouldn’t do that on Fourth of July.”

Let us grant that the four boys at Live Oak High School who wore American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo were not behaving sensitively toward their Latino classmates.
Let us acknowledge that they were immature, even offensive, when they picked a Mexican holiday to exhibit their patriotism.
It was a more subtle message than the Border Patrol T-shirts that some kids tried wearing in the San Jose Unified District. But given our battles over immigration, it was not a wholly friendly message.
Let us grant all that. It was still a mistake for an assistant principal to ask them to turn the T-shirts inside out or go home. It was a mistake not to let them wear the flag.
I don't say that because I'm a big flag-waving patriot. I loathe the simple dictums of the tea party movement. I hate the Arizona law that allows cops to demand papers on the street.
