Reality A Post By Michelle Malkin

Never seem to have time to post much these days, but this is a must read form someone I have always considered a Great American

CPAC at the Bridge
by Michelle Malkin
Delivered March 1, 2019
Good afternoon. Thank you to CPAC for the invitation. My name is Michelle Malkin. I identify as an American. A proud, unhyphenated, unapologetic, fully assimilated American. My pronouns are U.S.A.

America is good and America is great. Of these basic truths, there is or should be little dispute among us here. But two questions loom large: 1) For how long will the America we grew up in remain good and great? And 2) To whom shall we entrust the existential responsibility of securing the goodness and greatness passed down peacefully for generations?
I wish I could stand here and chirp happily to you about positive news. Yes, unemployment rates are at historic lows, regulations and taxes are being cut, some stellar judges have been confirmed, and the reckless, feckless liberal media has finally, finally self-immolated like a slow-motion downing of the Hindenburg.

Yes, we have much to thank President Trump for as he battles the Beltway swamp, the deep state, the administrative state, and the fake news fourth estate. But there is no sugarcoating America’s long-term forecast. We face fearful odds. The game is rigged. The playing field is manifestly unlevel.
My first book Invasion in 2002, exposed how border failures and systemic non-enforcement of our visa program rules created a national security crisis that led to 9/11. My last book, Sold Out, which I co-authored in 2015 with former American computer programmer-turned-labor lawyer John Miano, documented how Big Business and Big Government created an economic crisis by exploiting the H-1B tech worker visa program and other foreign employment visas for cheap labor. I’ve been accused of being a grifter for wanting to inform and educate citizens about these destructive rackets. But it’s the GOP sellouts in bed with open borders – like the ones who hijacked the tea party movement to shill for amnesty – who are the real grifters cashing in and practicing deceit at the expense of their base.

Our shining city on a hill has become a much-abused doormat to the world. Building the border wall is just half the battle. The numbers tell all. Our future is dimmed. The odds are fearful.
We currently grant one million legal permanent residencies to people from around the world every year. The number of green card holders is expected to increase by 10 million by 2025. That’s more than the current combined population of Dallas, St. Louis, Denver, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Now multiply that number by at least three and a half. Thanks to our chain migration system, created in 1952 and expanded exponentially by Congress in 1965 and 1990, these new immigrants can sponsor their entire extended families: parents, spouses, adult children and their children, and siblings and their children. Princeton University researchers found that recently admitted immigrants sponsored an average of 3.45 additional relatives each.

An estimated 85,000 refugees and 20,000-plus asylees enter the country annually through an overwhelmed system so rife with fraud and abuse that the process is jokingly dubbed “refugee roulette” by immigration lawyers. In total, from fiscal year 2008 to 2017, the U.S. gave green cards to more than 2 million migrants for various humanitarian claims – a population larger than the city of Philadelphia.

Nearly half a million more immigrants in that time frame got in through the diversity visa lottery. Illegal aliens are eligible if a legal family member wins the jackpot. Tens of thousands are pouring in from terrorism breeding grounds through the lottery unvetted, unmonitored and unassimilated. Thanks again to chain migration, immigration lotto winners’ spouses and unmarried children under 21 all get passes into the country, too.

Nearly half of all illegal aliens in the country have violated the terms of their short-term visitor or work visas. More than 10.8 million people received such visas alone in fiscal year 2015, including 500,000 foreign university and graduate students on academic visas and nearly 700,000 total foreign guest workers (both skilled and unskilled, not to mention their spouses, many of whom are allowed to work here as well).

Congress has repeatedly mandated a nationwide visa entry-exit system to track legal short-term visa holders. But one has yet to be built—even in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which were perpetrated in part by several illegal alien visa overstayers. E-verify has been stalled. Sanctuary cities metastasized. And BOTH parties are to blame – yeah I’m looking at you, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, the Bush family, Mitt Romney and the ghost of John McCain.
This unrelenting inflow of new green card holders, short-term foreign visa holders, legal temporary workers, refugees and asylees is supplemented by 13 to 30 million illegal aliens who expect amnesty and chain migration privileges from Washington despite breaking immigration laws governing everything from border jumping to ID fraud, benefits fraud, tax fraud, and marriage fraud, to human and drug trafficking, to employment rules, deportation orders, and visa overstays.
The feds have proved themselves serially unwilling and incapable of handling the lapses, backlogs, overload, and yes, invasion. The numbers tell all. Open borders anarchy, multiplied by endless chain migration, amnesty, and cheap labor pipelines, endangers our general welfare and the blessings of liberty. By every clear measure, the war is not on immigrants but on American sovereignty.
I’ve been called white for stating the facts. I’m not white. I’m just right. Both native-born and immigrant families like mine, which revere the rule of law, common traditions, constitutional principles, one identity and one tongue, have been replaced by militantly unassimilable and hostile generations…of future Democrat voters whose tribal allegiance to the Left has only hardened over time. It’s insane that we have elected Republicans on Capitol Hill doing the bidding of the illegal alien DREAMer racket. Until and unless we reclaim the right of self-determination over the numbers, we are doomed.

My fellow Americans, we stand at the bridge as Horatius stood at the narrow bridge over the Tiber River alone facing fearful odds as hordes of Etruscans marched towards him and cowards cut and run behind him. Like his enemies, our enemies are both foreign AND domestic.
Inside are flimsily defended borders, we are not at peace, or rather, the radical Left is not at peace with us. From the comfort of TV green rooms, Beltway backrooms, corporate boardrooms, and conference ballrooms, it may not look like civil war is imminent. But threats and outright violence against ordinary, law-abiding people are now regularized features, not random bugs, of political life in these dis-United States. College students are being punched, elderly citizens are being harassed, MAGA hat wearers are being kicked off planes and assaulted in school hallways and restaurants, conservative speakers are being mobbed and Molotov cocktailed, ICE agents and their families are being targeted, pro-lifers are being kicked and menaced, pro-Trump, anti-jihad moms on social media are being monitored and doxxed. The madness is beyond parody. Last week, social justice media warriors whipped up hysteria over a Mar a Lago pastry chef’s Instagram posts. Where are the sanctuary spaces for law-abiding conservatives who simply want to exercise their rights to free speech and peaceable assembly?

The divide in this country is between decent people who stand up for America and dastardly people who want to bring America to its knees.

We certainly should make common cause with others across the aisle who shares our values, but we should not rush to embrace those whose fundamental aim is to smear and destroy us all. That’s suicidal. Which is why I cannot stand here and stay silent about the role Van Jones has played in attempting to silence the Right. My objection is not to his support for criminal justice reform. I have dedicated much of my own time, energy, and money to fighting wrongful convictions, false allegations, and prosecutorial and forensic misconduct. Next time you need a conservative to talk about criminal justice reform, call me. You don’t need someone who’s going to spew fake news pro illegal alien propaganda to talk CJR to conservatives.
Fact check: The most recent research by the Federation for American Immigration Reform found that illegal aliens are up to 5.5 times more likely than Americans to be incarcerated in state prisons compared to Americans and legal residents.

But my most vehement objection is to this stage being used to lend legitimacy to the George Soros-funded organization Color of Change, which dedicated to censoring and sabotaging right-leaning groups for championing the free market, opposing radical Islam, and exposing open borders.
Seven years ago, Van Jones’ group pressured Pepsi, McDonald’s, Intuit and other companies to cut ties to the mainstream American Legislative Exchange Council(ALEC), a half-century-old association of state legislators who believe in “the Jeffersonian principles of free markets, limited government, federalism, and individual liberty.” What was ALEC’s crime? Crafting model legislation on voter ID to protect election integrity, immigration enforcement measures and self-defense legislation to strengthen Second Amendment rights.

Color of Change and the smear machine racket known as the Southern Poverty Law Center use the same playbook to marginalize and criminalize mainstream conservatives, anti-jihad groups, and immigration hawks as “hate groups” and push us out of the public square. They conspire with payment processors and Silicon Valley to deprive the Right of our voices and our ability to make a living. So many speaking up and fighting on the front lines for liberty and security are being detwittered depaypaled defacebooked deplatformed – people like Laura Loomer and Gavin McInnes and the Center for Immigration Studies and Robert Spencer and so many others. Many are in this room. Stand up if you are one of them. Many have been forced to beg for money to help them fight in court to restore their reputations. Many have been barred from this room.
Nice is not enough. Logic and facts and appeals to decency and fairness are not enough. Bemoaning double standards is not enough. Ultimately our future will not be secured in a Fox News anchor chair or a think tank office or on a cruise ship or at a cushy GOP retreat. The future is on the frontlines. At the edge of the bridge.

Then out spake brave Horatius, the captain of the Gate. To every man upon this earth death cometh soon or late. And how can man die better than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods.

Instead of throwing allies under that bridge, movement conservatives who have preached so comfortably here in the Beltway about defending America while preserving the status quo need to help provide financial and moral support to the disrupters willing to fight fire with fire. Maybe it’s providence that I am privileged to speak here on the 7th anniversary of Andrew Breitbart’s death. He was a disrupter. We need more disrupters. We need legislative action at the local and state level. We need politicians who will DO SOMETHING to stop the sowers of hate and their handmaidens. Use the tools at your disposal. Don’t just stand there. DO SOMETHING.

Diversity is NOT our strength. Unity is. Our common purpose is the common defense of our nation. Good people make America great. Good people: Stand and fight.

Saying That Must Be Said

I ran across this over at Adrienne's corner, something I had missed when it aired. Mr. Voight in a little over twenty minutes expressed some of the most important points that many of us as a people have not only decided to ignore or worse, but in fact reminds us of what this country was meant to be. Powerful and insightful

Politicizing The Supreme Court Must Stop Now!!

Time to talk about the upcoming Supreme Court announcement. Please note I am nothing but an everyday common man who loves my country, nothing more, nothing less and in turn am extremely fearful as to the course we have been heading on over the last forty years or so. The polarization of the courts must stop now!

In my last post, I posted the following:

“Moron Alert!!! A constitutionalist is not an activist! He or She are in fact people who will adhere to the rule of the law as put forth under our constitution! As such, they will not create laws and rights out of the blue. That is not their job nor has it ever been, yet more and more Congress and Presidents have relied on the courts to implement illegal acts as law. Gets them out of doing their jobs or taking responsibility.

Rescinding "established law (abortion for example or the Yonkers School case come to mind) is not activism if the so called law first and foremost was not enacted by Congress (if so, it is not a law!).  Same as to rights. The Constitution does not give the courts the power to create new rights (Abortion for example). And yet for years this practice has not only been allowed but in fact pushed forward by the very people who are now yelling for Trump's scalp and more. This goes beyond politics and in fact hits on the hatred the left has for our country and her ideals and I for one have had enough!”

In his book, “Slouching Towards Gomorrah”, (Note: It’s been quite a few years since I read it and it actually might have been in his book “The Tempting of America”. If so, my apologies for the memory lapse as I haven’t had time to re-read them), Judge Bork notes as to the Yonkers School case, while he agreed with the outcome as to the desegregation aspects, the judges involved decided the case quite illegally. The correct outcome would have been to deny the motion based on the rule of law, our constitution but in fact they basically enacted a law! No judge has the right to do that. The Congress should have been told to get off their sorry asses and enact a law if they felt it was needed.
Judge Bork (yes, we know he was against abortion so stop the whining) argued here that as judges, they do not have the right to create rights, which in this case turned into what is called “established law”.

Abortion? Settled law? Seems to me as Bork said, the court “created a right” rather than reaffirming one.

We are being bombarded with absolute bulls… as to the horrible idea of an “activist justice” by the talking heads and more. I noticed in the LA Times a headline (paraphrasing here, forget the exact words) Will Trump nominate an activist judge? Of course he will. And this mind set along with the “life as we know it will end” garbage coming from these folks as well as celebrities, so called black activists and more is really beginning to get on my nerves, especially as to one’s personal religion and more.

One also needs to note that the leftist scum as well as far too many so called righties have been sadly if not criminally remiss in not only having the balls to enact legislation for these causes, but in fact abrogating their duties and functions to the courts, something our founding fathers never intended. Far worse, these people openly encourage the justices to not only do their dirty work but in fact while they’re at it break the Law of the Land to achieve goals they do not have the guts to fight for legally as they know their positions are all based on lies.

Below is the President commenting in his weekly address on the nominee. Please note the highlighted portion as this is how one needs to select a justice. No litmus test of any kind is needed except one thing., that being that a justice adheres to the Law of the Land also known as the Constitution and that in turn he or she realizes they do not have the right to enact law or establish a right. That is the job of Congress!

“One of the most important decisions a president will ever make is the decision to nominate a justice to the United States Supreme Court.

Last week, Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his decision to take senior status. I was greatly honored when Justice Kennedy came to the White House to meet with me. America is truly grateful for Justice Kennedy’s lifetime of distinguished service. He has given me a great responsibility to choose a worthy successor.

Last year, I was proud to appoint Justice Kennedy’s former law clerk, Neil Gorsuch, to the Supreme Court. Over the last year, Justice Gorsuch has embodied the most sacred principles of the court, making impartial decisions based upon the Constitution.

In choosing Justice Kennedy’s replacement, my greatest responsibility is to select a justice who will faithfully interpret the Constitution as written. Judges are not supposed to re-write the law, re-invent the Constitution, or substitute their own opinions for the will of the people expressed through their laws. We reject judicial activism and policymaking from the bench. The faithful application of the Constitution is the bedrock of our freedom, the foundation of our society, and the linchpin of our government. The American system tasks Congress with writing the laws, the executive with enforcing the laws, and the judiciary with issuing neutral judgments based upon those laws and the Constitution we have sworn to protect.

In choosing a new justice, I will select someone with impeccable credentials, great intellect, unbiased judgment, and deep reverence for the laws and Constitution of the United States.

I look forward to making an announcement soon so that we can further strengthen and protect liberty and justice for all.

Thank you, and God Bless America.”

My apologies here because I forget exactly where I saw the below to acknowledge as such:

In a talk at the Jacksonville University Public Policy Institute, Barrett noted that “Voters and people generally see the headlines in newspapers: ‘Court decides in favor of same-sex marriage,’ or ‘Court strikes down Texas abortion restrictions,’” arguing that this sort of coverage “leaves voters with the impression that justices and judges are just casting votes based on the policy results they prefer.”
According to Barrett, then a law professor, politicians help feed this misperception:

“To say ‘I want to appoint someone who is pro-life’ or ‘I want to appoint someone whose primary focus is protecting minority rights,’ the candidates are talking to their bases and talking to the electorate and saying ‘signal, I’m going to put people on the court who share your policy preferences,’” muddling the perceived function of the judiciary.

“I think that’s not the right qualification for a justice. We shouldn’t be putting people on the court that share our policy preferences. We should be putting people on the court who want to apply the Constitution.”

Although this seems lost on many politicians and journalists, Barrett emphasizes a critical point here: The duty of the court is not to advance or impede upon a certain political agenda. A textualist in the mold of former Justice Antonin Scalia or Justice Neil Gorsuch would bind himself or herself with the written intent of the Constitution, rendering warnings that the court will evolve into a super-legislature of conservative policy all the more unfounded.

This isn’t to say that Supreme Court rulings on issues like abortion or affirmative action won’t be overturned in the future, but rather than resulting from a political agenda, the decisions would follow from the court carefully deciding that it overstepped its authority in a previous ruling.

Although this won’t comfort those with a more activist view of judicial authority like Toobin and Warren, the court would be keeping in line with its actual purpose: applying Constitutional and statutory law with its intended meaning.

Wise words from our President and Mr. Barrett. The courts for years have overstepped their boundaries and society has suffered greatly. The National Review has the following article today:

“Why Should a Single Federal Judge Be Able to Make Law for the Whole Country?”

Moron alert! Wrong question!  (although the Review has also gone remiss on some of their assumptions).

The question should be Who or what in the world gave any judge the right to make law?!

Until such time the electorate and in term our elected officials, as well as the co-opted media address this question, this country is toast!

A justice must be selected with the willingness to rule under the laws of our land. They must if at all possible put aside their personal feelings and such. Yes, they are humans but none the less they must try to do that!

As we go forward, the Senate, as they conduct their hearings (and let’s not let the RINOs off the hook here) will in fact put out their litmus test questions demanding not only how they would want a justice to rule but in fact wanting to know in advance where the nominee stands on the issues, something they have no right to know!

Will you adhere to the Law of the Land as put forth by the Constitution when you rule on a case? Pure and simple! I do not agree with many of our laws as enacted by the morons we elect, but once legislated and signed, they are the law. The Court’s job, if asked is to determine said law is Constitutional! That’s it. If so they can strike it down.

In Yonkers, courts in effect created a law. As Judge Bork said, the outcome might have been correct, but the Court did not have the right to create law! That was up to the legislatures and we all know that over the years, Congress (especially the Dems but guilt on all sides)are more than willing to shrug of their duties so as to keep attention from themselves. As such we have these activist courts.

I see one Dem is actually advocating expanding the Court to 15 and “packing” it. WOW. Roosevelt all over again. Forget everything else on that but remember the political angle because in the end this is what it is all about, achieving a political outcome at any cost, legalities be damned.

A Chief Master Sgt Speaks Up! Pleas Read And Learn!

I found the below re-posted over at The Ferrel Irishman. Sgt. Roof pretty much says everything I would want to say and more as he being a soldier also gives him major credibility in my book.

Having said that, please note where he mentions the Supreme Court and the nomination of a Constitutionalist. THIS IS IMPORTANT!

The loony Socialists as well as their lap dogs of the Press are yelling and screaming as to "We cannot nominate another activist to the Court!)! The LA Times for example flat out states Trump will in fact nominate an activist! As such, here is something I hope all have missed from me since I have not been able to write much in the last few years.

Moron Alert!!! A constitutionalist is not an activist! He or She are in fact people who will adhere to the rule of the law as put forth under our constitution! As such, the will not create laws and rights out of the blue. That is not their jib nor has it ever been, yet more and more Congress and Presidents have relied on the courts to implement illegal acts as law. Gets them out of doing their jobs or taking responsibility.

Rescinding "established law (abortion for example or the Yonkers School case come to mind) is not activism if the so called law first and foremost was not enacted by Congress.  Same as to rights. The Constitution does not give the courts the power to create new rights. And yet for years this practice has not only been allowed but in fact pushed forward by the very people who are now yelling for Trump's scalp and more. This goes beyond politics and in fact hits on the hatred the left has for our country and her ideals and I for one have had enough!

I will go a bit deeper into this tomorrow as this appointment is extremely important as to actually righting the ship of state.

in the meantime, enjoy the below, written by a man who defended my right to be able to write this, something the liberals call hate speech!

Well said by,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Chief Master Sgt.George Roof, USAF (retired)

Because I am a "lifer" in the military, I've seen the impact of a president more than many of you can imagine.  I enlisted with LBJ and saw just what a Democrat clusterflock was all about.  I went to Vietnam and saw how we were constantly and incessantly bombarded with micromanagement from Washington that got thousands of military people killed.  I sometimes wonder if I'll get to heaven, but if I go to hell, I'm sure I'll still be a few hundred floors above that bastard Robert McNamara , LBJ, John Kerry, Jane Fonda, and yes, even the "hero" John McCain.

After Johnson "abdicated" rather than having his ass waxed, I lived through Nixon who was hawkish but allowed the generals (and there WERE a few real generals back then versus now) run the show.  He was so out of touch that he never knew North Vietnam was about to surrender when the Paris Accord was presented.

Only God could help us after Gerald Ford was beaten by Jimmy Peanuts who'd been funded by Saudi money.  The military
was turned into Section 8 and even the Whitehouse suffered the
austerity.

Then the light began to shine and Ronald Reagan
swept into the fray.  He not only loved the country and the military, they loved him back.  Esprit d'corps was off the scale during his presidency.  The Liberals were slowly turning into socialists, however, and about this time all the draft dodgers of the 1960's who'd been given amnesty by Jimmy Peanuts were turning out
college graduates with degrees in socialism.

Bush 1 was an enigma from the CIA and though he never did much either way, he NEVER DID MUCH EITHER WAY.

Welcome to Bill Clinton.  Clinton spent most of his two terms wagging the dog and creating the Oral Office, sending a bomber to blow up Qaddafi's tent and killing a goat or two, while allowing the UN to set up the infamous Black Hawk Down situation.  He made history by becoming only the second president to be impeached.

I actually felt sorry for Bush 2.  He was doomed to infamy from the start.  He thought most of America was still the rah rah patriots of WWII when they were simply socialists waiting to feed him to the sharks.

Then there came the Manchurian Candidate with a faked (OK Democrats, let's say "of questionable origin" to assuage your PC brains) birth certificate, who'd gotten a free ride through college under a foreign student exemption, and whose college records and complete life history had been sealed.  (We know more about Thomas Jefferson's bastard children than we do about Obama, Michelle, OR their two kids).  From his inaugural address, he slandered America and within days had begun to encourage dissension of the races as well as slandering
police who "acted stupidly."  That was mild to the crap that would come in doubling the national debt from what had been built by ALL THE PREVIOUS PRESIDENTS COMBINED, feeding us bullshit about how Muslims built this country, and nationalizing American industries.  Fueled by George Soros' money and using the Air Force fleet as his personal charters, he appointed malcontents and traitors into positions of authority.  He trashed the Constitution by installing "czars" (interesting he chose a title like that) to bypass Congressional authority.  By that time, Congress was completely corrupt on both sides of the aisle.  No one had balls to impeach this charlatan.

Mysteriously, the lone outspoken conservative Supreme Court Justice suddenly dies in his sleep at an Obama pal's hunting lodge and the Supreme Court is evenly split.  Finally, Congress shows some balls and rejects Obama's nomination.  The Libertards aren't worried because the fix is in.  Soros has paid demonstrators to cause turmoil at all the Republican gatherings, Obama concedes that illegal aliens should vote as they won't be prosecuted, and Soros-manufactured voting machines are caught switching votes in certain precincts.  Hillary has cheated her
way to the nomination and her lies are completely ignored by the  brainwashed minions of sycophants who follow her.

But a shocking thing happened on the way to the forum.

Middle America had had enough and although the pollsters and the pipers tried to convince them not even to bother to vote, they were fed up with the denizens of the swamp.  It was time.  Florida was designated a "swing" state ignoring that all those old retirees living in St. Petersburg, and the fed up Cuban Americans of Miami weren't interested in their platform.  Ohio and Pennsylvania, where coal production was blacklisted and where Obama had ridiculed them for "clinging to their Bibles and their guns," lay awaiting this supposed "landslide" Hillary vote and creamed it.

The Socialist world of the Democratic Party disintegrated. An American who expressed unbridled love of country and respect for police, firemen, and military steamrolled across the heartland and the liberals realized their scheme was trashed.  A CONSTITUTIONALIST would be nominated to the Supreme Court and if the old hag Ginsburg who'd claimed to retire if Trump were elected would actually leave, the Supreme Court would have a massive majority of CONSTITUTION A LISTS for the next 40-50 years.

Now, the same party who'd ridiculed Trump on his comments about the election being rigged, started screaming that the election was rigged.  They even advocated having the election repeated.  They created mobs that burned and pillaged, stopped traffic, threatened murder, battery and rape of Trump supporters, and became the anarchists that the socialist dream thrives upon.  They run like castrated pigs for safe zones and use diaper pins as their national symbol.

This is exactly what happens when political correctness takes over and participation trophies are awarded to everyone.  They can't conceive how disgusting and subservient they have become.  Donald Trump may NOT be the best person for the job, but he's such a welcome respite from the candy-assed wimps who've been running the swamp that it's refreshing to see.  At the very least, Donald Trump derailed the Socialist train and bought us precious time.  If he only does half of what he's promised, we'll still be legions ahead of where Obama has dragged us.  Already countries who held us in contempt are lining up to be found in the favor of America.

So for you liberal lurkers and you half-assed fence-sitters, ####off!  You had your big hurrah and now your party is over.  For you staunch Republicans in office, don't gloat so much yourselves.  You've been put on notice by the American people that we're fed up with ALL YOU BASTARDS and if you don't start putting America first, you do so at your own peril.  You might want to buy a copy of George McGovern's
autobiography and see how shocking and humbling it can be for a professional politician to have to try to find legitimate work once he falls from grace.

This election was pure, unadulterated AMERICAN.  Hillary got beaten and AMERICA WON THE ELECTION. You can claim he's not "your president" all you want, but unless you forfeit your American citizenship
YES HE
IS!!!!

Go cry a river some place they need water.
