One note before I go on. Anyone who has followed me at all will recognize most of the tail end of this particular post, especially in regards to the Tea Party. It is something I not only deeply believe in, but is in fact something that has to be said again and again. We silent majority Americans have got to drown out the destructive garbage coming from the hard left (as well as from the right)! This is long (sorry bout that!), but as I say in the main body below it has to be said.
There is a wonderful site I follow called Flopping Aces. (http://floppingaces.net) . They have some great writers and contributors, and the comments are quite colorful and varied from both sides to say the least. 5 or 6 days ago, one of their folks posted a number of videos showing the vile hatred spewing from various lefty loons. The post was titled “Left wingers are animals” by Dr. John.
As expected, the lefties on the site took the writer to task for having the horrible gall to even equate a human to an animal citing how hateful that was and in turn ignoring the very proof in front of them as is normal for hard core ideologues of any persuasion. Early on in the thread, which by the way is one of the longer ones I have seen, I posted the following. (Note: I’m leaving things as I posted the comments. There are referrals to a few of the folks who comment on this site. Again, let me say they it is one of the best sites out there for discourse and I really enjoy engaging with everyone on there. One other note. I refer to Skook who actually goes under the moniker of Skookum when he posts. Among other things he is an ex racetrack (blacksmith) as I am . I just want to point out that he is in my opinion one of the greatest writer I have ever read. His stories are warm and reflect a life well lived).

Over the next couple of days, I kind of forgot about it until I looked at my email as I get alerts from their site as to comments. Man, I couldn’t believe what I was reading as to the arguments going on between the commenters. As usual of course we had the racist hatemonger charge being bandied around as well as a rabid disregard for any facts bring put forth. In fact, the feel of the thread was becoming in my view extremely snitty. As there are way too many posts on this, let it suffice that when I finally caught up with it 3 days later, I got into one of my “I’ve had enough of this crap snits”. So let’s go on! My next reply was as follows:

My My, we’re getting a bit snitty here. For the record from my little place in the world. First and foremost it needs to be noted that the saner minds on this site (Mata, Bees, Skook and the others) are always first to point out there are loonies on the fringes in both parties.
Having said that, the main facts speak for themselves. The hatred, racist accusations, disdain for any opinion different from their own as evidenced by the leftist Democrats, their leaders and in turn the portion of the electorate ( I wonder a lot about those making the most noise. Losers like them tend to be the takers and not responsible voters) cannot even remotely be described as civilized. And as I said early on in this thread, animals should be insulted to be compared to the trash passing themselves off as “liberals”.
For the Gregs, Riches and others out there, I notice every one of you pretty much march to the hateful tune being put forward by the Dems. I will say one of you at least acknowledged the media’s leftist bias and then in turn defend them! So, I ask something I’ve asked more than once. What the hell is the matter with you people?! I have been to 3 so called Tea Party meetings. I have not seen anything comparable from the right as to what we are seeing from the left. In the Town Hall meetings I have been too, the hate has come from the left. I have not seen people from the right trying to take over or disrupt meetings as what is happening from the left. And I sure as hell don’t see the right day in and day out throwing out the race tag or whatever other class warfare item they can when they cannot justify their positions.
The fact that from what I see the left will only put out the propaganda that they feel all should hear is bad enough. But for them to put out the Bull S… arguments that I have seen through this thread while refusing to even remotely acknowledge the compromised media is absolutely beyond me.
As near as I can see, the leftists have just about succeeded in their quest at indoctrination of the masses. They lash out at the truth yelling as loud as possible to block it. Their double standards are all they want one to see. The hate spewing from the left, be it the Al Sharptons, the Trumkas or any off the others is a sad commentary on what was once a great country.
Look in the mirror folks (this also goes for those far right idiots)! I believe the quote goes “We have seen the enemy and they enemy is us” (sorry if I got it wrong)? Well that’s what you have.
We’re out of time here folks! Tough decisions have to be made. not the posturing or the bull shit lies coming from the President, his lackeys or the entrenched RINO bastards who think we can just keep rolling along! Hell, you folks on the left actually feel anything I make belongs to the people! And you can all go jump because it belongs to me! The President has the balls to tell a flat out lie his budget will cut the deficit when he still spends more than taken in? Ryan’s budget is accepted with scorn as being hateful towards whomever but at least is an attempt to if nothing else start the discussion. OOPS! Can’t have that! Discussion isn’t allowed by the left if it counters their position. So we’re right where we’ve been!
It’s time for those on the left and the right to understand one thing. I and others do not owe anyone a damn thing other than the equal right to succeed. Morally we all need to help the truly helpless. Other than that, those who refuse to help themselves don’t deserve anything from me or my government. We are out of time as far as addressing this country’s deficit. The fact that those on the left (and some on the right) are so intent on keeping their handouts and entitlements and in turn are willing to accept our fall into third world status disgusts me. Thoughtful discussion is fine. throwing out hate is bad! Since we all know the truth is now easy to find if one wants to look, something the left definitely doesn’t want to do as some on the hard right, it’s time for everyone to get their heads out of the sand and be real for once in their lives.
Just a quick example: When one has a Congresswoman who says she can’t understand the new members of Congress who insist things should be Constitutional when passed, one has to figure the party is now completely ignorant of any recognition of our country’s true ideals.

It’s time for the hate mongers(and those few on the right who we have heard from, minuscule as opposed to what’s coming from the left at this moment) on the left to stop their yelling and vitriol and start acting on the problem at hand! Do I believe one could refer to Obama as a Manchurian candidate? Yes, I do. Do I believe he is purposely destroying the country? No, I don’t! I am a member of the Tea Party. I am not a disgruntled Republican however. I and most of us are disgruntled Americans! We the people sometimes do not pay attention to all that is going on, but once we open our eyes, we act. The hateful noise coming from the hard left at this time leads me to the following. I am hopeful this is the start of a second revolution that will restore our country’s soul. I’ve said before that we need a revolution but we are the only country that can have one that is done peacefully through that ballot box. As to the Tea Party, my feelings are well known but apparently need repeating!
It is apparent beyond all doubt that the establishment on both sides are deathly afraid of the so called Tea Party (and thus the electorate in general) and they well should be! For those of you who prefer to live in a cave, the Tea Party from my view is not just about returning to conservative principles. The people who are aligning themselves behind this movement are looking for so much more. We are looking for men and women of principle! The Tea Party movement is not a fight for the heart and soul of the Republican party! Sarah, The Electorate And The Impending Doom
Folks, I apologize in advance for the rant that follows. As I started responding to a thread on another site, it hit me once again that the problem is all of us. Until we as a people realize that, we are in deep doo doo. The thread was on Flopping Aces, one of my favorite sites as it has frank open and sometimes some quite vicious discussions as to the issues. It concerned the absolutely marvelous speech Mrs. Palin made in Wisconsin the other day. My response was as follows.
Sarah is what she is and we are blessed to have her as a spokesman. One thing for sure, she has a set that this wishy washy poor excuse of a president wishes he had!
Having said that, it must be pointed out how so many of us on this site have in fact pointed out more than once that this catastrophe that is now our government and in turn the fiscal disaster we face is in fact the fault of every piece of S… politician of either party who has chosen to put their power lust at the forefront rather than what is right for the country! Entrenched RINO scum is every bit as responsible as is the Marxist/ Leninist wanna be dictator and his lemmings on the Democratic side. I and so many others on this and other sites have in fact pointed this out.
Being as the MSM, the Dems led by the President and the entrenched idiots both elected and appointed are on a “spend like hell, make sure the electorate is beholden to us” rush to disaster, it once again has to be pointed out that the problem is D.C. in general but the electorate also has to accept a major part of the blame. They as always choose the candy rather than accept the responsibility. As an example, it has been proven time and again that a robust economy, stimulated by lower taxes has resulted each time in higher revenues to the Treasury. Yet we continue to spend an average of 42 cents above every dollar taken in! And what do we get from our leaders?
Tax them more! We can’t stop ourselves so the hell with the public! Just be damned sure we are allowed to keep our power! Oh please MSM, make sure to keep the people ill informed so as to not jeopardize our phony baloney jobs! And the electorate, their heads firmly buried up their asses somehow keep electing these morons! Let someone speak against it they are either vilified by the opposition or as is the case ridicule from the MSM.
Those are the pure and simple facts, not all the rhetoric and caustic crap from the Ivans, Gregs and others of both sides who refuse to look beyond their own ideological idiocies! If I sound caustic or mad, I am.
Our country is going down the tubes and one seems to think nothing can be done. But there is a fix. It’s called revolution through the ballot box! We as a country must get rid of the garbage that is destroying us! We must take our country back. It is the responsibility of every citizen. We as an electorate are judge and jury. We must find these clowns guilty of the high treason they are committing that is leading this country to it’s doom! I’m dead serious about this!
It doesn’t take an elitist moron for one to see how screwed up we have become as to the very ideals that once made us what we were, the greatest country ever. Too many are now just selfish to the point they refuse remember they are Americans first!
Most folks on this site (as well as here on my site) have seen my rants and raves, so you know how strongly I feel about this. Just an hour ago, SandP downgraded the nation’s debt outlook to negative! And what did we get from the morons in the administration? “It was a political move!” As always, they refuse to acknowledge the truth choosing to point a finger rather than suggesting a real remedy.
As to Sarah and the others. The facts remain they will be slammed by not only the Commie leaning Leftists, but also their own party. As pointed out above there are far too many who in the end care only about the power. Hell, just look at Rove! Even now, he and other moderate (God, I want to gag on that) Republicans are leading the charge against anyone who does not toe the D.C. line!

Budget Follies and Whining Unions and Dems
Last week we witnessed another boondoggle effort by our leaders as to addressing the out of control budget deficit. We had a ballyhooed attempt at a compromise that in the end hardly cuts crap which in turn the very person who wants to spend the most started taking credit for cutting. Cutting what?! If one looks a t the following, we aren’t even talking 1% of spending outlays! Good God, we are talking incredible Bull S… here! Nothing else!
(Via the AP) A new budget estimate released Wednesday shows that the spending bill negotiated between President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner would produce less than 1 percent of the $38 billion in promised savings by the end of this budget year.
The Congressional Budget Office estimate shows that compared with current spending rates the spending bill due for a House vote Thursday would cut federal outlays from non-war accounts by just $352 million through Sept. 30. About $8 billion in immediate cuts to domestic programs and foreign aid are offset by nearly equal increases in defense spending.
When war funding is factored in the legislation would actually increase total federal outlays by $3.3 billion relative to current levels.
So after this fiasco of a vote and as I noted in my earlier post, POTUS declared certain things he signed into law do not pertain to him. So as it should be with a wanna be dictator. After that, we get the Paul Ryan budget. At last, an attempt in writing to address our country’s deficit and out of control spending. Is it perfect? Probably not. But it is a start. Nor according to POTUS, tha MSM and the Commie left however! No siree! The nasty conservatives want to kill seniors, children and completely lead us into Third World status, which by the way, the left has been doing quite nicely on their own.
Instead of leadership from POTUS however, we instead got one of the most hateful, ideological, partisan leftist leading speeches in the history of this great nation. Below are some great excerpts which say what I want to much more eloquently than I ever could!
From Krauthammer:
“I thought it was a disgrace,” he said. “I rarely heard a speech by a president so shallow, so hyper-partisan and so intellectually dishonest, outside the last couple of weeks of a presidential election where you are allowed to call your opponent anything short of a traitor. But, we’re a year-and-a-half away from Election Day and it was supposed to be a speech about policy. He didn’t even get to his own alternative until more than halfway through the speech. And when he did, he threw out numbers suspended in mid-air with nothing under them with all kinds of goals and guidelines and triggers that mean nothing. The speech was really about and entirely an attack on the [Rep. Paul] Ryan plan.”
Krauthammer offered up an example and showed in one scenario, the tax rates in Ryan’s plan were higher than what Obama’s own deficit commission had recommended.
“I’m going to give you one example of how dishonest it was – he went on and on how the Republicans want to steal from your grandma to lower taxes on the rich,” Krauthammer continued. “And he talked about the Bush tax cuts and how much he is going to stand on the bridge and oppose any extension which is what he knows how to do. He has done it over and over for the last six years. The Ryan plan is not about the Bush tax cuts. It transcends them. It’s what the deficit — what Obama’s own commission recommended, strip out loopholes and lower rates for everyone. It’s not about whether it’s the Bush rates or Clinton rates. It’s a whole new approach by which the Simpson-Bowles Commission recommended itself. In fact, Bowles had recommended in one of its scenarios of a high rate of 23 percent. Ryan is at 25 percent. Obama did this knowing that this is a way to play to his base. It was a speech that was quite remarkable in how demagogic it was and I say that with all due respect.”
Charles Krauthammer in many ways is a quiet man who speaks openly and plainly. My read on the above was it was as close as he would ever get to accusing POTUS as being a hypocritical run of the mill political bastard without saying it. The man is professional to a fault. I’m not! Next we hear from Herman Cain. A man along with Alan West I am admiring more and more every day!

“President Obama’s address proved yet again that he values ideology over basic economics and leadership.
His budget employs his typical class warfare tactics, insisting on taxing America’s job creators into oblivion for what he deems “fairness.” In doing so, he makes clear his willingness to further cripple our economy in exchange for pushing his wealth redistribution agenda and abandonment of the free enterprise system.
President Obama also took the opportunity to blame everyone but his own administration for this economic disaster, shifting blame to the Bush administration, Congressional Republicans and America’s highest earners, neglecting his own administration’s reckless spending.
Instead of using this speech as an opportunity to preview a budget that could significantly pay down our mounting debt through meaningful spending cuts and entitlement reforms, he again insisted on saddling America’s job creators with an even heavier tax burden to pay down the debt. Meanwhile, Congressman Ryan proposed his own budget that reduces the national debt by $6 trillion without raising taxes on a single American family or business.
Most importantly, actions speak louder than words. President Obama claims that his budget proposal would cut $4 trillion in just 12 years. Can we really trust a man who vowed time and time again that his administration would cut the budget deficit in half, but instead, brought our budget deficits to record levels in just half a term in the White House?
Indeed, since President Obama just filed his re-election candidacy papers, Americans today got their first televised campaign speech for 2012: all talk, no leadership.”
Last but not least in this vain, I reprint an article from the Wall Street Journal. This is easily one of the best columns they have put out in years and says everything I want to say!

Did someone move the 2012 election to June 1? We ask because President Obama's extraordinary response to Paul Ryan's budget yesterday—with its blistering partisanship and multiple distortions—was the kind Presidents usually outsource to some junior lieutenant. Mr. Obama's fundamentally political document would have been unusual even for a Vice President in the fervor of a campaign.
The immediate political goal was to inoculate the White House from criticism that it is not serious about the fiscal crisis, after ignoring its own deficit commission last year and tossing off a $3.73 trillion budget in February that increased spending amid a record deficit of $1.65 trillion. Mr. Obama was chased to George Washington University yesterday because Mr. Ryan and the Republicans outflanked him on fiscal discipline and are now setting the national political agenda.

His own plan is to double down on the program's price controls and central planning. Is that the same as "waste and abuse"?
Fifteen members will serve on the Independent Payment Advisory Board, all appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. If per capita costs grow by more than GDP plus 0.5%, this board would get more power, including an automatic budget sequester to enforce its rulings. So 15 sages sitting in a room with the power of the purse will evidently find ways to control Medicare spending that no one has ever thought of before and that supposedly won't harm seniors' care, even as the largest cohort of the baby boom generation retires and starts to collect benefits.
Mr. Obama really went off on Mr. Ryan's plan to increase health-care competition and give consumers more control, barely stopping short of calling it murderous. It's hardly beyond criticism or debate, but the Ryan plan is neither Big Rock Candy Mountain nor some radical departure from American norms.
Mr. Obama came out for further cuts in the defense budget, but where? His plan is to ask Defense Secretary Bob Gates and Joint Chiefs Chairman Mike Mullen "to find additional savings," whatever those might be, after a "fundamental review." These mystery cuts would follow two separate, recent rounds of deep cuts that were supposed to stave off further Pentagon triage amid several wars and escalating national security threats.
Mr. Obama rallied the left with a summons for major tax increases on "the rich." Every U.S. fiscal trouble, he claimed, flows from the Bush tax cuts "for the wealthiest 2%," conveniently passing over what he euphemistically called his own "series of emergency steps that saved millions of jobs." Apparently he means the $814 billion stimulus that failed and a new multitrillion-dollar entitlement in ObamaCare that harmed job creation.
Under the Obama tax plan, the Bush rates would be repealed for the top brackets. Yet the "cost" of extending all the Bush rates in 2011 over 10 years was about $3.7 trillion. Some $3 trillion of that was for everything but the top brackets—and Mr. Obama says he wants to extend those rates forever. According to Internal Revenue Service data, the entire taxable income of everyone earning over $100,000 in 2008 was about $1.582 trillion. Even if all these Americans—most of whom are far from wealthy—were taxed at 100%, it wouldn't cover Mr. Obama's deficit for this year.
Mr. Obama sought more tax-hike cover under his deficit commission, seeming to embrace its proposal to limit tax deductions and other loopholes. But the commission wanted to do so in order to lower rates for a more efficient and competitive code with a broader base. Mr. Obama wants to pocket the tax increase and devote the revenues to deficit reduction and therefore more spending. So that's three significant tax increases—via higher top brackets, the tax hikes in ObamaCare and fewer tax deductions.
Lastly, Mr. Obama came out for a debt "failsafe," which will require the White House and Congress to hash out a deal if by 2014 projected debt is not declining as a share of the economy. But under his plan any deal must exclude Social Security, Medicare or low-income programs. So that means more tax increases or else "making government smarter, leaner and more effective." Which, now that he mentioned it, sounds a lot like cutting "waste and abuse."
Mr. Obama ludicrously claimed that Mr. Ryan favors "a fundamentally different America than the one we've known throughout most of our history." Nothing is likelier to bring that future about than the President's political indifference in the midst of a fiscal crisis.’
As long as we’re on the subject as to the President and his complete disdain for the common American citizen, I would like to point out the little letter that came from the Office of the White House Press Secretary. Can someone please tell me why the White House is shilling for the unions? Moron Alert! They are supposed to represent all of us! Trumka Statement on the President's Fiscal Policy Speech

Today, President Obama gave a promise to America’s working people that he wouldn’t follow the path of the radical Republican fiscal agenda that leads to lost jobs and a national decline of standards. That commitment is essential at this crucial moment for children, students, seniors and everyone who hopes for a secure economic future.
The President also made clear that he understands why Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are so important to working people. The labor movement is equally clear that we oppose cuts to any of these critical programs – no matter who proposes them.
Above all, let us refocus our national energy and attention on job creation – because successful job creation is the key to making long-term deficit reduction both easier and more politically achievable.
The Republican budget proposal, by contrast, is simply a shameful wealth transfer from working people to corporate CEOs. It does not make a significant dent in the deficit. It is a fraud on the American people. Republican leaders in Congress have shown they want a massive cut in tax rates for the wealthy and for Wall Street, and they want the middle class and the poor to pay for it in various ways, including higher health care costs, hidden tax increases and cuts in essential programs. At a time of record unemployment, each cut to our nation’s budget threatens American jobs and the Republicans’ irresponsible cuts would eliminate hundreds of thousands of them.
Here’s the truth: We cannot have an honest conversation about the deficit until we return fairness to our tax system, and that includes addressing our medium and long term fiscal problems created by the $100 billion-a-year Bush tax cuts, as President Obama made clear today. But we also must close corporate tax loopholes in a way that raises additional net revenues. We must insist that corporations and the rich pay their fair share instead of shortchanging education, health care, technology and other investments in our future. President Obama does not yet have the balance right between spending cuts and new revenue. Without significant new revenues, we will just end up balancing the budget on the backs of the poor and the middle class.
The regressive and economically destructive plan of the Fiscal Commission Chairs is not a starting point. A number of groups on the Democratic side have come forward with plans and ideas that seek to restore fiscal health, tax fairness and investments in our future. Those ideas have to be the way forward to create an economy in which our children can thrive, with a renewed focus on creating good jobs.
Last but not least, I have my laugh for the day. Poor Nancy Pelosi is crying because she was left out of the budget negotiations in the exact same way the President and his party refused to include the Republicans in any way as they pushed their socialist healthcare plan and agenda down the throats of the American public! And The MSM actually is trumpeting her cause! These assholes refused to point out how the administration actually told the opposition to take a hike and now ant us to feel bad about how the Dems are being treated? “I feel no ownership of that or any responsibility to it, except that we don’t want the government to shut down.”

(Via the AP) A new budget estimate released Wednesday shows that the spending bill negotiated between President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner would produce less than 1 percent of the $38 billion in promised savings by the end of this budget year.
The Congressional Budget Office estimate shows that compared with current spending rates the spending bill due for a House vote Thursday would cut federal outlays from non-war accounts by just $352 million through Sept. 30. About $8 billion in immediate cuts to domestic programs and foreign aid are offset by nearly equal increases in defense spending.
When war funding is factored in the legislation would actually increase total federal outlays by $3.3 billion relative to current levels.
So after this fiasco of a vote and as I noted in my earlier post, POTUS declared certain things he signed into law do not pertain to him. So as it should be with a wanna be dictator. After that, we get the Paul Ryan budget. At last, an attempt in writing to address our country’s deficit and out of control spending. Is it perfect? Probably not. But it is a start. Nor according to POTUS, tha MSM and the Commie left however! No siree! The nasty conservatives want to kill seniors, children and completely lead us into Third World status, which by the way, the left has been doing quite nicely on their own.
Instead of leadership from POTUS however, we instead got one of the most hateful, ideological, partisan leftist leading speeches in the history of this great nation. Below are some great excerpts which say what I want to much more eloquently than I ever could!

It’s what the deficit — what Obama’s own commission recommended, strip out loopholes and lower rates for everyone. It’s not about whether it’s the Bush rates or Clinton rates. It’s a whole new approach by which the Simpson-Bowles Commission recommended itself. In fact, Bowles had recommended in one of its scenarios of a high rate of 23 percent. Ryan is at 25 percent. Obama did this knowing that this is a way to play to his base. It was a speech that was quite remarkable in how demagogic it was and I say that with all due respect.”

Hypocrisy On Parade: Lies and Deceit
Before I get into the budget fiasco on my next post and what I consider a complete disconnect (I’m going to try and be civil today, not crass as I’ve been lately), I want to just throw a mention out there as to the lying hypocrisy practiced by the occupant ( I’m finding it to be an insult to the office addressing him as President) of the Oval Office.
First, we have him on an interview with George Stepanopolous in which he reveals a past vote cast for political reasons only along with a lame “Well, I was a new senator” excuse!
“As Obama revealed to George Stephanopoulos, he voted on the basis of what was politically expedient. In effect, he voted with his party to embarrass and make things difficult for George Bush.
In response to Stephanopoulos’ query on that vote, Obama said, “I think that it’s important to understand the vantage point of a Senator versus the vantage point of a . . . President. When you’re a Senator, traditionally what’s happened is this is always a lousy vote. Nobody likes to be tagged as having increased the debt limit for the United States by a trillion dollars. . . As President, you start realizing, “You know what? We–we can’t play around with this stuff. This is the full faith in credit of the United States.”
He then pled inexperience: ”And so that was just a example of a new Senator, you know, making what is a political vote as opposed to doing what was important for the country,” and had to add a plug for his unique honesty, ”And I’m the first one to acknowledge it.”
He pleads inexperience?! The man shows exactly what is wrong with Washington and politicians in general, that being their standings as prostitudes are in fact intact. But it doesn’t stop there, not with this clown! We have the following! In effect, he once again puts himself above the law and in turn into his perceived lordship position of self ordained dictator.

Budget, State and Foerign Policy Lunacy!
There is just so much I want to comment on today, I don’t know where to start! So bear with me kids. It’s going to be a long one! LOL!
I suppose the best place to begin today would be with the budget. We have the President and the main media morons claiming “leadership” as to last weeks fiasco. It’s almost enough to make me puke.
Lost in all of this is the fact that one hardly hears any mention of the Dems failure to pass the budget last year as required. From the lying sack of crap in the White House to the propaganda industry they control, it's not their fault! How so many in the public refuse to recognize the failure on the Dems part is just an indication of how indoctrination in the schools combined with the welfare society these scum bags on both sides of the aisle is destroying the very fabric of this great country! Having said that, here are a few snippets I’ve stumbled across in the last few days.

The federal debt increased $54.1 billion in the eight days preceding the deal made by President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.) and House Speaker John Boehner (R.-Ohio) to cut $38.5 billion in federal spending for the remainder of fiscal year 2011, which runs through September.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said Sunday that White House senior adviser David Plouffe is not being honest when he says that President Barack Obama has been leading the discussion on cutting taxes and reducing the deficit.
“We’ve had to bring this president kicking and screaming to the table to cut spending,” Cantor said on “Fox News Sunday.” “I then hear they’re going to present a plan as to how to address the fiscal situation…. In my opinion, It’s really hard to believe what this president is saying.”

No one can say that President Barack Obama and his administration weren't thinking of the American people during the budget standoff with Republicans. Their inconvenience was very much on his mind.
According to White House sources, in the weeks leading up to last week's push for a budget deal, the President approved plans that had the White House and federal agencies looking at every federal government resource that entailed public interaction, and whether it could be shut down during a closure of the government -- even if under normal government closures those resources would have or could have remained open.
"The goal was to inflict as much inconvenience and pain on the American public and lock them into supporting the Administration's perspective on the budget fight," says a White House source. "It was our nuclear option, but we saw how a government shutdown under Gingrich just destroyed Republican standing with the public, and we felt we could achieve that kind of damage and more, even if we really didn't have to."
For example, a number of websites that provide the public with information about everything from Social Security options to veterans services, even public-private educational websites operated by the Smithsonian, would have been shut down by the Obama Administration had a government closure taken place Saturday morning. "Those sites don't even involve government employees to operate, but we were going to shut them down anyway just to hit home the right message with the public," says the White House aide.
White House sources say some agencies, like the Smithsonian, which manages a number of the museums and Washington attractions tourists prize most during their visits, pushed back on shutting down the websites, but were overridden by the White House.
While about 800,000 federal employees might not have gone to work on Monday, the White House did have options to ensure that visitors to Washington got at least some of their tax-dollars worth. For example, the Smithsonian could have been identified as a federal program requiring "essential personnel," so that public-facing employees, such as security guards, docents, and exhibit managers, would be present to enable tourists to visit the museums. Also, museum employees covered by private foundation grants for specific exhibits could have been deployed. But the Obama Administration shot down all those plans, putting in place a draconian government shutdown plan.
"Basically, making life easy for the American public was not something that would have helped us," says another White House aide. "We controlled the executive branch and the federal environment. How could we basically do what would have been great for tourists, and then have media reports showing business as usual in Washington for tourists that undercut our arguments and our fight?"
First, the Soros thing is beyond amazing! He would have us piss away our entire future and spend nothing other than the phony money this lost in space government is printing! The sad part is, in listening to the talking points being put forward by President Bozo’s henchmen, he wants to take a scalpel rather than an axe to the budget and invest! Invest, for you moonbeam lobbies out there is their way of saying “spend like hell more of what we don’t have”. After all, our kids and grandkids are going to be stuck with it!
How about this for a start? $200 billion in spending on redundant programs and useless government employees! And I don’t want to hear the crying about these folks loosing their jobs. They aren’t doing anything space cadets! Some legitimate estimates that go as high as 25% in waste and funds that cannot even be accounted for! And let’s not forget NPR,CPB, Planned Parenthood and any other entity that if the public wants it, let them support it themselves (and for you libbies out there, this also means programs supported by the entrenched Rep. scumbags as well. I am after all an equal opportunity disser when given the chance)! I could go on and on. The point is a $38 billion cut for the rest of the fiscal year is just another slap in the American people’s face!
As we are now seeing our leader, you know, the one who had his ass against the wall and will be more than happy to abandon his Soviet style agenda only long enough so as to keep his sorry ass position. Not only is this clown taking credit for basically nothing, but he’ll use it to show he “is listening and thus deserves re-election! Anyone who is foolish enough to even remotely believe this clown has changed his stripes is either stone cold dumb or completely ideologically brain dead! Even if he pays the right some lip service, the moment he’s assured another 4 years, he will finish forcing this country into Soviet style government. That is and always has been his mantra as evidenced by his own words, actions and associates! In my book, guilty as charged!
The vilification of Paul Ryan has already started as well as the scare tactics by the left! As evidenced by the media slant, they are going to paint the right as extremists. Yet as evidenced above "The goal was to inflict as much inconvenience and pain on the American public and lock them into supporting the Administration's perspective on the budget fight," And they call this leadership from the President? More like stone cold treason in my book and if nothing else, it once again shows the utter disdain this elitist asshole and his minions have for the American public!
Next, a quick comment as to the farce going on in Wisconsin. As one now knows, a conservative in the end won the Supreme Court election. There was an issue that was resolved before the results were sent out to the press, something that the Union owned left is choosing to not disclose.
It has to be noted that a major Democrat who participated in the vote count and the subsequent discovery of the 7,500 omitted votes validated that it was an honest error and approved the final vote tally. She is acknowledged by many people from both parties as a lifelong union member, a Democrat and as honest as they come!
Every now and then an honest Democrat appears! Kudos Ramona Kitzinger! Your party could learn a thing or two from you!
Shouldn’t be too long now before the scum on the left starts demonizing another one of their own now, should it? After all, in the union owned Democratic Party, having someone actually tell the truth or show some moral backbone is tantamount to treason, isn’t it?

“Arab League Chief Amr Moussa said the organization will ask the UN to impose a no-fly zone over Gaza, which Israel has pounded with air strikes in response to rocket fire... "the Arab bloc in the United Nations has been directed to ask for the convention of the Security Council to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza and impose a no-fly zone."
One cannot make this crap up! Get yourself attacked but do not under any circumstance defend yourself. Or better still, make damn sure Israel is treated as the pariah we, the Muslim world say it is! Seems to be what they're saying.
As this moronic proposal winds its way through the farce known as the U.N., I’m wondering what our Anti-Israeli President will have to say. One guess is he’ll be leading the charge to shut down Israel’s right to defend themselves from the murderous bastards of Hamas!

Blackhawks Back To Defend Lord Stanley's Cup!!!!
Before I get off on my tirades for the day on my next post, I would like to point out that my beloved Blackhawks have made it into the playoffs, albeit through the back door. All records are even now and they’re getting their injured players back. Big hopes as always! One other comment on this!
Last night I watched a great hockey game. The reason I mention this (not only because the Stars loss got my beloved Blackhawks into the playoffs) is because quite honestly, I'm at the point where I could care less about the other three sports, especially football and baseball. The way these sports have become what they are on the professional level has pretty much destroyed them as an enjoyable attraction.
Now back to the Minnesota Wild. In the other sports we hear all the garbage as to the "professionalism" of the players, the integrity of the teams and all the other B.S. Yet let a team in any other sport be eliminated from contention they will at once fold up their tents and just go through the motions. Get it out of their hair and go home, the hell with the fans, you know, those who pay through the yang to watch Professionals!
Last night, we saw a team going nowhere play with pride! We hear it all the time from the talking heads, but we never see it! Last night we did. I salute the Minnesota Wild Hockey team. They could have laid back and helped eliminate a bitter rival. They didn't! This is a lesson not only in pride, but in doing your job to the best of your ability every time, everyday! I would not think twice about using that team as an example of what sports and sportsmen should be for my grandkids! I cannot honestly say that about any of the other sports!

Random Comments: The Scum That Is D.C. Politicians!
Today, I am beyond mad. We are being told so many lies by this administration and government in general. We are told a legislative branch that had an insurmountable majority couldn’t pass a budget due to the minority blocking them. We’re being told the economy is improving. We’re being told inflation is minimal while fuel and food prices are going through the roof! We can’t drill for oil here, but we can give money to Brazil to do it! All of this spite aimed towards the American people continues unabated while the powers that be happily go about the destruction of our country!
First today, I have to comment on the pathetic performance art being put forward as budget negotiations! Can anyone out there tell me what those idiots do not understand about the fact that spending must be cut?
Moron Alert! The President is being portrayed by the scum in the MSM as being the “adult figure” as to the budget negotiations! What am I missing here? This guy has been AWOL from day one! He sure as hell hasn’t bothered to do any leading on the subject, that’s for damned sure! He and his Democratic cohorts had an insurmountable majority yet chose to not pass a budget last year. He’s out there with the best of them blaming the other side, but he sure as hell isn’t blaming himself! Leading? Adult Figure? The man wouldn’t know leadership if it crawled up his rear end!

That has been the same pattern every reported period, yet we get the “things are turning around” lies from the no counts in D.C.!

Gotta be careful here. I was taken to task on another website by someone who didn’t have the balls to comment on my site (I don’t and won’t block anyone. I want the feedback) as being a hard core white racist! My, crime? Using the President’s words. actions and associations against him in my assessments and comments as to his sad sack administration. Whenever one points out inconsistencies (can’t use the words “outright lies and hypocrisy”), I and others are branded racist. If one points out the shameful actions by the DOJ as to the Black Panther voter intimidation, we are branded racist. If one points out the need for self responsibility rather than earning one’s way, we are branded racist. And on and on!
Any way one looks at this, if they will just open their mind and actually look and listen, read and study, and take their so called leader at face value as to his words and actions, the end result is clear. They would have to come to the conclusions I and others have. I believe in guilt by association, by one’s words and one’s actions. Obama is exactly what he has always been. A Marxist/Socialist/ Anti-Israeli/Anti-American ideals hard lefty. Pure and simple. He will lie and ignore the laws of the land to achieve his set goals. And since he and his lackeys have no sound basis as to explain their wayward actions, they and their followers will continue to throw whatever they can put there to turn the attention away from their deceit.
